📣 RESCHEDULED 📣 Our first webinar of 2024, Leachables sensitisation assessment framework in collaboration with Extractables & Leachables Safety Information Exchange (ELSIE), will take place on the 15th February 2024! The #ELSIE consortium was established in 2007 and unites pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies with a shared vision of becoming the leading industry voice and scientific resource on #extractables and #leachables (E&Ls). In this #webinar, three ELSIE consortium members will discuss the sensitisation assessment framework of E&Ls and explore different routes of administration, including dermal, respiratory and parenteral. Moreover, there will be analysis of ELSIE/Product Quality Research Institute (PQRI) databases and illustrative case studies demonstrating each route of administration. Protein drugs or biopharmaceuticals are taking an increasing part among therapeutic medications worldwide. Furthermore, most of these are produced from animal cell cultivation-based processes.    This course explains the foundations of animal cell cultivation for the production of protein drugs in the pharmaceutical industry and how these processes are developed. It also provides practical applications through simulation software.    The course teaches theory and methodology in the field of cell technology applied to animal cells.    Apply no later than 15 October, the course starts 17 March.
