🔧 Continuing our Series on Gearbox Lubrication Simulation🔧 In today's post, we dive into gearbox simulations under varying viscosities. We analyze the performance of lubricants at two critical temperatures: the standard 25°C (3.356E-5 m²/s) and the extreme -40°C (3.247E-3 m²/s). Discover the detailed comparison on our website: (https://lnkd.in/e5qWkVwe). Here, we showcase how shonDy's simulations stack up against experimental results from our Suzhou, China office. #Gearbox #Lubrication #Simulation #Engineering #shonDy #Innovation #CFD #FluidDynamics

When designing a magnetizer aimed at motor makers who need to magnetize pre-assembled rotors, we must be able to assure them that the system we are offering will be able to consistently achieve total saturation of the embedded permanent magnet. Our UHS-3DS family of analyzers can combine various magnetizer designs with our measuring instruments to examine the actual magnetizing condition of your prototype and how the magnetization could change under any conceivable scenario. Being able to test an industrial magnetizer in the laboratory before it must be installed on-site is a game changer. #magnetization #electricvehicles #electricvehiclesarethefuture #sustainability #sustainablemanufacturing #electricvehicles #magnetizer #magnetism #qualityassurance #qualitycontrol #engineeringsolutions #japanbusiness

The most popular types of #electricvehicle motors, such as interior permanent magnet synchronous (#IPMSM) or interior permanent magnet (#IPM) designs, use arrays of #permanentmagnets embedded within their rotors. To reduce cost, it is better to first insert the magnets into the rotor body before they have been magnetized. This is called post-assembly magnetization. When using the older pre-assembly magnetization method, the magnet's quality could be checked with a flux meter to ensure it had been fully magnetized. This is not possible for the post-assembly method. This is why NDK developed our UHS-3DS analyzers. These measurement systems ensure that the embedded permanent magnets with the rotor are fully saturated. #electricvehiclesarethefuture #electricdrives #electricvehiclesarethefuture #emobility #motors #IPMmotor #magnetizer #magnetism #permanentmagnet #japanbusiness

Our armor sleeves made of CFRP are designed for maximum performance of electric motors. So if developers of electric motors ➡ want to realize high speeds, ➡ when smallest installation space or ➡ the reduction of the air gap are their challenges, they not only benefit from our decades of experience in both material development and power transmission – but also from our comprehensive service package that helps them over the hurdle: "How does the bandage get on the rotor?" It includes: ✔ FE simulation to determine material, wall thickness and preload of the sleeve ✔ Production of prototypes ✔ Assembly service, in particular press-on tests ✔ Testing services incl. pilot production for product validation Find out here how you can reliably increase the efficiency of your electric motors with rotor bandages made of CFRP from our expert Volker Bier: https://hubs.ly/Q02VPt7N0 #schunk #passionfortechnology #rotorbandage #emobility

Witness the newly unveiled solution to combat heated ball valve inefficiency in the final day of SEMICON West at Booth #5640! Subfab, abatement, and deposition processes often struggle with heating efficiency in traditional ball valves due to the dreaded “cold spot” caused by poor heat conduction to the ball. The all-too-common design flaw limits the main benefit of heating valves in dirty processes, reducing byproduct buildup, resulting in: ❄️ Decreased system performance ❄️ Increased maintenance costs ❄️ Increased safety risks ❄️ Heating inefficiency ❄️ Byproduct buildup ANCORP tackled these industry issues and developed the innovative Heat-Thru technology that features specialized heat-thru components and proprietary thermally conductive vacuum grease proven to eliminate the cold spot in ball valves. Heat-thru technology allows for: 🔥 50-100% Improved heat application to the ball 🔥 30-50% Improved timing efficiency to reach set point temperature 🔥 33-50% Reduced energy consumption This patent-pending development is optimized for heated ball valves and empowers the ANCORP line of heater-optimized Multiport Valves available for view at Booth #5640 at SEMICON West! Join us to discover how our Heat-Thru technology can transform your operations, providing a more efficient, cost-effective, and safer solution for heating ball valves in semiconductor fabrication. Pictured below is ANCORP President Glenn Vaudreuil showcasing the new technology at SEMICON West. #SEMICONWest #subfab #abatement #valve #semiconductorprocurement

~8,000lbs of compression force on the belt needed to transmit ~280Nm with a push belt car CVT. Our beta prototype transmission is being designed to transmit >100Nm with <100lbs of compression force on the belt. That's a much better ratio if you ask me..... What that means: we can shift with small electric motors. Push belt car CVTs need heavy hydraulics to shift. Sources: https://lnkd.in/e5fPAA7b (graph on page 4 of PDF used to get 260Nm number, published by push belt competing company LuK) https://lnkd.in/eEqS9EBb. (Mobil article from 2000's used to get ~8000lbs number. Technology likely hasn't changed since push-belt car CVT's still rely on the belt in below 1970 patent) https://lnkd.in/egKcqsu6 (push belt patent)
