Breaking Barriers & Building Bridges ✨ Wow… Just WOW! ✨ Today marks a monumental moment in Washington County Circuit Court! Thanks to Judge Kirk Downey, State’s Attorney Gina Cirincion, and their dedication to justice, relief was granted after 25 years through an 8505/07 motion. The state attorney’s decision to carefully review prison mail, prioritize victim needs, ensure public safety, and recognize the power of reentry programming reflects the incredible balance needed to support addiction prevention and mental wellness. A special thank you to legal counsel Steve Mercer of RaquinMercer LLC for aligning with No Struggle No Success (NSNS) to create a powerful reentry framework. This collaboration highlights the importance of addressing the opioid crisis and the impact of trauma through stackable care services that bridge the gaps for returning citizens. With the support of Drug Court Case Manager Ms. Crucial, Coordinator Bricker, and our community allies, NSNS is thrilled to be part of the solution by offering addiction support, mental wellness resources, and reentry care.
