So proud to work with the amazing, dedicated professionals who make up Partnership to End Addiction. Our mission is to put ourselves out of business: to end the addiction crisis in this country. Through our over 30 years of doing research, policy and advocacy work in this field, we stand behind three imperatives: 1️⃣ Preventing substance use in young people for as long as possible 2️⃣ Ensuring that every young person who needs treatment, receives quality treatment 3️⃣ Equipping families, parents, and caring adults with the tools and knowledge they need to support their child/loved one. We also know that the need to "marry compassion and science" is central to ending this crisis that impacts more than 46 million people aged 12 and older -- or 1 in 3 households -- in the United States. Partnership to End Addiction Board member and Chief Clinical Officer, Behavioral Health Group Kamala Greene Genece, PhD put it this way: "This is a constantly changing disease, and professionals need to have access to people who are researching and understanding that, and equipping them with the latest information and knowledge." This short video provides an overview of the impact we make at the national, state and local level: https://lnkd.in/giQPF-Y9 If you'd like to learn more about how Partnership to End Addiction can support initiatives in your local community, please DM me. If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use disorder, please go to drugfree.org to learn more about supporting them, and yourself.

Breaking Barriers & Building Bridges ✨ Wow… Just WOW! ✨ Today marks a monumental moment in Washington County Circuit Court! Thanks to Judge Kirk Downey, State’s Attorney Gina Cirincion, and their dedication to justice, relief was granted after 25 years through an 8505/07 motion. The state attorney’s decision to carefully review prison mail, prioritize victim needs, ensure public safety, and recognize the power of reentry programming reflects the incredible balance needed to support addiction prevention and mental wellness. A special thank you to legal counsel Steve Mercer of RaquinMercer LLC for aligning with No Struggle No Success (NSNS) to create a powerful reentry framework. This collaboration highlights the importance of addressing the opioid crisis and the impact of trauma through stackable care services that bridge the gaps for returning citizens. With the support of Drug Court Case Manager Ms. Crucial, Coordinator Bricker, and our community allies, NSNS is thrilled to be part of the solution by offering addiction support, mental wellness resources, and reentry care. Together, we’re building stronger pathways for recovery and reducing recidivism—one life at a time. Recovery is possible. Reentry is achievable. Together, we succeed. #NoStruggleNoSuccess #ReentryMatters #AddictionSupport #TraumaInformedCare #OpioidCrisisResponse #MentalWellness #RestorativeJustice #CommunityHealing #RecoveryIsPossible
