Manufacturing Fused Quartz micro Components since 1991, InnovaQuartz offers the highest precision and accuracy at unbeatable prices. Whether you need a few dozen or tens of thousands a month, IQ’s ISO 13485 controls begin with drawing the glass from Heraeus tubes and rods, involved zero harsh chemicals and delivers your parts with certification of compliance to dimensions within microns. Laser processed surfaces exhibit the highest damage thresholds and our laboratory can deliver (non)crystal clear chamfering and stepped diameters on both OD and ID, flat, round or conical seals, flat surfaces on cylinders, etc. If you can render it in 3D graphics, we can render it in quartz. Mostly…well, we’re now cowed by a challenge… ;-) Info@innovaquartz.com Innovations in Quartz since 1991

Laser cutting technology for lenses is a high-precision method that uses laser beams to cut and process lens materials. This technique excels in achieving exceptional accuracy and speed when working with various lens materials, such as glass, optical plastics, and crystals. It is widely used in the production of optical components like lenses, prisms, fiber optic lenses, and other precision optical devices. Advantages of Laser Cutting Technology for Lenses: High Precision: Laser cutting works at the micron level, ensuring sharp, accurate edges and smooth surfaces that maintain the optical quality of the lens. Non-contact Process: Since the laser doesn't physically touch the material, there is no mechanical stress or surface damage. Complex Shape Cutting: Lasers can easily handle intricate shapes and curved surfaces, ideal for custom lens designs. Material Versatility: Laser cutting is suitable for a wide range of lens materials, including glass, quartz, sapphire, and plastic. High Efficiency: It enables fast production, making it suitable for mass manufacturing while maintaining consistent high quality. #lasercutting #ledlens #lightingparts #lighting

🏍️ 👉 FARO | Beyond the Best https://bit.ly/3VvQEhX 🏍️ Learn how Moriwaki Engineering Co., Ltd. increasingly relies on 3D laser measurement technology by FARO to scan and probe small parts in the development, design, manufacture, and sale of motorcycle mufflers and other high-performance parts. 🏍️ The “before and after” difference is what sets 3D scanning apart from traditional measurement methods. Prior to the use of an portable arm manufacturers relied on calipers, circumferential gauges, protractors, and related analog tools. In designing a muffler, for instance, the layout is determined by connecting the pipes together on the actual motorcycle, and from that, a master model is created. Jigs are then fabricated from that master model. This was a time-consuming, error-prone process, with a variety of additional limitations, chiefly in terms of 3D data acquisition, repeatability and quality control. 🏍️ With scanning tools like the FaroArm, many of these challenges were eliminated. One of the greatest advantages of working with FaroBlu, (the laser line probe) is the ability to create CAD designs and use numerical control machining. With traditional measurement tools, 3D data is not possible. #experienceSynergy #FARO #metrology #quantum #scanArm #laserScanning #safety #automotive #engineering #energy #sustainability #speed #accuracy #preservation #dataCollection #costEffective

‘so, you’re into metal printing’ is often the first thing visitors to our exhibition stands ask when seeing our products for the first time. We often take an aluminium broccoli with us on the road a sales sample - it’s a fun way of getting a conversation going. And even if it’s not quite our usual space, aerospace or supercar componentry, it is nonetheless an excellent advertisement for block investment casting. Because, if we can create an exact replica of a brassica oleracea in metal, then we can also make a gyroid, lattice structure or other complex shape that regular casting or machining cannot. Block investment casting is possibly the most useful metallic engineering process you’ve never heard of. If you’d like to know more about how we can remove weight from a component using this technique, please get in touch. We may even send you a piece of metallic broccoli by way of explanation... #casting #aerospace #motorsports #foundry
