My Vacation Planning Use Case Validated by Google's Gemini Announcement! In an exciting development for travel tech enthusiasts, Google recently unveiled Gemini vacation aid, their personalized trip planning tool. As the creator of the GPTProX vacation planner use case published back in September 2023, I'm thrilled to see the industry embracing AI-driven personalized travel experiences. While Gemini and GPTProX share some high-level similarities like providing customized itinerary suggestions based on user interests and budget preferences, there are a few key differences that set GPTProX apart: GPTProX goes beyond just user data by incorporating logic programming, travel ontologies, and GIS integration for advanced filtering, context, and geographic awareness. It also proposes leveraging multi-agent optimization and category theory techniques to validate and further refine the suggested itineraries. So while Gemini currently focuses on a simpler user experience driven by existing Google user data and Google map, the GPTProX use case outlines a more comprehensive and technically sophisticated approach. That said, it wouldn't be surprising to see Gemini evolve and adopt some of these advanced capabilities over time. The GPTProX use case was just one of eight innovative AI-driven applications I conceptualized and published on www.gptprox.ai/index.html last year. As an AI/ML researcher, I'm passionate about pushing boundaries and exploring tangible use cases. With Gemini's vacation planner launch validating the vacation planning concept, I'm keen to collaborate with like-minded engineers, researchers and companies to bring GPTProX and the other seven use cases to life. Recently, I had the opportunity to dive deep into Cleartrip, an online travel booking platform that's making waves in the industry at NextLeap What I discovered during my teardown was nothing short of impressive. Cleartrip's user interface is intuitive and streamlined, allowing users to quickly and easily book flights, hotels, and more. But what really stood out to me was Cleartrip's dedication to transparency and customer experience. From moving the focus from just the ‘booking’ journey of a customer lifecycle to cater to large customer segments who want to be guided on their travel discovery and planning, Cleartrip has decided to challenge the status quo. They go above and beyond to ensure its users have a smooth and hassle-free travel booking experience and “enabling every travel dream into a reality” Thinking on the same lines I did 1:1 interviews to understand users' pain points and suggest recommendations to improve upon their customer experience further. Overall, I was blown away by the thought and care that went into Cleartrip's product design. As someone who has seen their fair share of online booking platforms, I can confidently say that Cleartrip is among the best. #productbreakdown #travel #customerexperience #productmangement
