Hiring doctors for a hospital requires a structured process to ensure that you bring in skilled, qualified, and reliable professionals who align with your hospital’s values and goals. Here’s a guide that might help: 1. Define the Requirements and Role Specialization and Skills: Specify the specialties you’re looking for (e.g., cardiology, general surgery). Experience Level: Decide if you need junior residents, senior consultants, or specialists. Roles and Responsibilities: Outline the duties, work schedule, and any on-call requirements. 2. Create a Job Description Include qualifications, certifications, licenses, experience, and soft skills like communication and empathy. Mention your hospital’s unique selling points (e.g., state-of-the-art cardiac care at Apex Hospital Jaipur), which may attract candidates. 3. Source Candidates Job Portals: Use medical job portals and hospital job boards. Professional Networks: Leverage platforms like LinkedIn, specialized groups, and networks like BNI for trusted referrals. Medical Colleges and Conferences: Connect with fresh graduates or specialists at these events. Internal Referrals: Often, current employees can refer reliable professionals. 4. Screening and Interviewing Credential Verification: Verify licenses, qualifications, and board certifications. Background Check: Review past employment, any malpractice cases, and criminal background. Interviews: Conduct multiple rounds, including HR for cultural fit and technical rounds with senior doctors. Skill Assessment: If relevant, include practical assessments or case studies to test their approach to patient care. 5. Evaluate Cultural and Ethical Fit Assess if the candidate shares your hospital’s values, especially in patient care and ethics, which is crucial for maintaining your hospital’s reputation. 6. Make an Offer After finalizing the candidate, discuss compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities. Highlight any unique perks your hospital offers, such as ongoing training or specialization opportunities. 7. Onboarding and Training Introduce them to the hospital’s procedures, team, and patient care standards. Ensure they’re comfortable with your hospital’s technology and processes to maximize efficiency. 8. Retention Strategy Offer continuous learning, reasonable workloads, and a positive work environment. Establish a feedback loop to ensure the doctor feels supported and valued. By following these steps, you can improve the chances of finding a doctor who will contribute positively to your hospital's team and patient care standards. #doctors #hospitals

Dear Hospitals Management.. 1. Do we need a reference for a job after qualification. If yes then HOW??? 2. You need an experienced candidate but not ready to select a candidate without reference.. HOW??? 3. Ads for freshers recruitment need 2-3 years experience HOW??? and need a reference...HOW??? 4. Industry mentions maximum range salary if during the interview we mention expected salary accordingly then HR says we don't have budget then WHY??? do we mention... 5. If a candidate has experience and qualification both then the organization should pay him according to his skills qualifications and experience or according to the reference...??? When a candidate approaches the industry or organisation kindly think that he has some responsibilities and to fulfill those he wants to work hard. It's absolutely fine if there is no opportunity or openings but holding an opening and not selecting a candidate just because of REFERENCE it really makes the candidate to think about the future in a negative way or to make a wrong decision after having qualifications... A referred candidate will always allow to help another candidate via reference kindly select a genuine and skilled candidate he will allow an experienced candidate to reach to your cabin. So kindly make some certain changes in HR protocols or to be frank i.e make some changes in the HR department before you lose an experienced candidate.. My request please stop the reference recruit according to qualification experience and skill... Should WIN WIN situation from both ends. "India's Healthcare and Medical services Is Booming!!", however where are the jobs and opportunities?? Clinics, healthcare and Medical care foundations are expanding their benefit consistently yet the quantity of jobless Medical care experts is perilously rising. An ever increasing number of understudies are concentrating on nursing and paramedical courses however wind up sitting at home. Healthcare and Medical services The executives experts are either sitting inactive or saying an extremely durable farewell to Medical services industry. Some corporate healthcare and medical care goliaths have caused a significant debasement of Medical care Capabilities. I get stunned how these medical clinics have the daringness to request MHA or MBA for a section level position like Visitor Connection Chief. A four year certification in Medical services or Clinic The executives is adequate for section level positions. A post advanced education is the most appropriate for administrative jobs, I don't see the reason why they need up-and-comers with post advanced education for section level positions. Capabilities like MHA, MBA or some other post advanced education is exorbitant and requires a great deal of exertion for its fruition. Ultimately Indian healthcare and Medical services industry can't stand freshers. Being a fresher in India is something like a wrongdoing or sin. The majority of the gig postings from healthcare and medical care spotters share one thing for all intents and purpose, they don't need freshers. A few scouts even notice "freshers don't have any significant bearing" or "freshers not qualified". A fresher will stay a fresher except if recruited. I have no clue about how healthcare and medical services industry is blasting in India, in light of the fact that the more intently I notice, the more clear it turns into that our medical services industry is really contracting. Emergency clinics are getting more extravagant yet they're not employing individuals and regardless of whether they are recruiting somebody, the compensation is very compromised. #Healthcare #medical #services #hiring #jobs #career #management #lowpay #uncertain #future #corporate #hospitals #india #hr

A senior once told me, “Just work; it doesn’t matter how little you get paid.” But who will stand up for us? We deserve fair compensation for our hard work, especially considering the cost of living. It’s concerning to think that new graduates might be discouraged from pursuing clinical pharmacy roles in places where they don’t feel appreciated. I currently work at a JCI hospital, and I would feel ashamed if someone asked about my salary. How can I explain the future of this profession? We need to raise awareness about these issues to ensure a better future for ourselves and those who come after us. How do we address this undervaluation and advocate for the recognition we deserve? #acallforchange
#acallforchange I just came across an old message from almost a year ago that left me pondering over some important thoughts I’d like to share. Back then, I had applied for a role at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital but was rejected because their budget for the position was less than my current salary at the time. It was surprising; to say the least that as a fresher I was being paid way more than what this leading institute was offering. This experience has led me to reflect on the larger issue at hand. How can an institution of such repute in a city like Mumbai (where the cost of living is already so high) offer such a low salary? After investing 6 years into my education, gaining clinical experience through rotations across all major medical departments, it was disheartening to think that a salary of 3 LPA could be deemed acceptable for someone with a doctorate. What does this say about how we are valued in the healthcare system? How are they budgeting this? What do they expect from someone who has dedicated years of study and hands-on patient care? This has left me concerned for the future of my juniors and our profession as a whole. Our role is critical and we deserve better recognition; not just for ourselves but for the quality of care we aim to provide. I’m very happy with my current role and incredibly grateful for the wellwishers who’ve supported me along the way. I can’t help but feel a deep sense of responsibility to raise awareness for those coming after us. I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this. How do we address this undervaluation and ensure a better future for our profession? #acallforchange #clinical #pharmacologist #fresher #job #pci #mumbai #india #pharmd #doctorofpharmacy #salary #cheating #fraud #government #healthminister #amitabhkant #mansukhmandviya #fraud #scam #scaminindia Pharmacy Council of India Dr. Montukumar M Patel MinistryofHealth HumanResources'DevelopmentandTraining FSSAI, MoHFW NDTV Aajtak Campus Digital Health News indianews live The Times Of India TimesNow Media Livemint News Today Scroll.in TheEconomic Times IMA Pharma NITI Aayog Official NITI Aayog Ankur Warikoo FoodPharmer FamilyWellnessMD Indian Pharmaceutical Association Students Forum

Dear Friends, writing this with lots of Mental pain I started my career in health care industry in 1991 as a PRO, I have had the privilege of working in leading diagnostic centers, Corporate hospitals and Pharma companies. I am a hard core sales and Marketing person also having few years of experience in Health care operations. Till Covid in 2020 I was enjoying my career working in leading corporate hospital. I have had a slow but steady growth in my career till 2020. currently working for a diagnostic center and from April 2024 I have been looking for a suitable position in health care organizations in Kerala, karnataka, Andhra, outside chennai and also out of country. I had contacted hr managers of different hospitals in these places. I had contacted the top management people and Owners of these hospitals, through this app as well by mail. I received few calls from hr in Kerala and I attended the interview, so far all in vain because I am 50+. Every one needs young people, some hr says iam over experienced, if experience can be taken into count AGE becomes their issue. At last if they want to hire they offer only a small pay. I don't understand is having experience a problem, age a problem, providing pay as per expertise a problem. no one has answer. when I started my career my pay was 3 digit, it took 2 years for me to reach a 4 digit pay and 10 years to get a 5 figure pay, where as in my 10 th year my designation reached to Sr. Manager, but at that point of time a fresher who was designated under me also was given a starting pay of 5 digit. I had career growth from a Pro in 1991 to Sr. General manager in 2020 and Director in 2024. Now after having years of experience getting a job is tough, I would like to ask my friends in this app, should one end his/ her career because age is 50+. I don't have pension Or other benifits as iam not a government servant and throughout my career have worked only in private organizations. This post is not meant to hurt anyone, it's only my experience which has been posted. Everyone in this world has to survive, we need health as well as wealth to take care of us. years back the CEO, Director, MD had the power to hire young or experienced manpower. Now it's HR who are very young having very less knowledge of the industry they are working given the power to recruit. A kind request to the top management in health care, experience matters to get the desired results and if one is healthy age should not be a barrier. As long as possible I will continue my search for a job as I always prefer to be independent. thank you for reading.
