SIBS attended the 9th annual European Payment Institutions Federation (EPIF) conference, which took place in Brussels under the motto ‘European Payments: On the road to 2030’. 💳🚀 Madalena Cascais Tomé, SIBS' CEO, joined a panel discussion on the sector's key challenges and initiatives over the past year, focusing on innovation and regulation. EuroPA - the European Payments Alliance, was highlighted during the conference as a significant initiative of the year, namely by European Commission officials, which reinforces the relevance of this project in shaping the European payments landscape. The conference also addressed topics such as the Digital Euro, the review of the regulatory framework for the payments sector, and the industry's opportunities and challenges.
