It marked a historic day for the #Nepalitea Industry as the first ever ‘Nepal Tea Challenge’ 2024 and Tea auction was conducted bringing together tea producers, buyers and tea enthusiasts under the same roof. It was an opportunity for Siddhadevi Tea estate (Chiya) to showcase and celebrate our awards won internationally and raise awareness among #Nepali tea drinkers and public about the growing international recognition of #Nepalitea around the world. Out of 100+ entries competing in the challenge, 12 excellent teas fetched outstanding prices and generated over 4+ Million Nepali rupees of sales within an hour of the #teaauction. A special thanks to Sonam Paljor Lama for taking the initiative to bringing forth various stakeholders of the #Nepalitea industry and making the event a grand success.
