When we worked in finance, yhangry 👨🍳 was a side hustle. This hack helped us find our first 5 super users 📈 Heinin Zhang and I started having dinners for our friends, peers and their friends... From these initimate dinners, we got SO much valuable feedback! - about our product - about who we can partner with - and started the flywheel of word of mouth Over time, we have hosted these dinners for: - connecting with other female founders - connecting with other marketplace founders - connecting with people from our community! If you are building a business or own a community, Here is a little incentive to meet a few of them IRL, And let the magic unfold! 🎁 👉 Link to view dinner parties currently happening in comments :) I’d love your help to spread the word 💗- tag a entrepreneur/ content creator you know would love to engage with their community :) #community #founders #startups #corporateevents #banking #hiring #entrepreneurship #brandmarketing #ycombinator
Just realised The BAE HQ should do this duh
I love that, Siddhi Mittal. It's such a great way to leverage wider communities, which can use your product to build better and more meaningful relationships with their members!
This is such a creative approach to building a network and gaining feedback.
I run a nutrition app called Hapcha and we have an idea I’d love to pitch to some CPG founders, maybe we could host a roast to get feedback (and eat a roast dinner). Then we could also share the food-related tech with yhangry too!
What was the most surprising piece of feedback you received from these dinners?
Fernanda Reyes if you want to run one for evermore 🥰
Let’s chat! X
