The end of creativity or its advancement? I’ve just designed a lesson for a class who will watch this ad and then discuss the above prompting question. I want them to start to think about the impact of AI in their worlds. What are young people feeling about the concept of creativity in the AI era? Are they seeing tech as a propellant for more creativity or is it perceived as the death knell? Discussion ABOUT and AROUND AI is just as important as learning HOW to use it. #ai #aieducation #edtech #stgregs

A lot of discussion about the new Toys R Us ad made (almost) entirely from AI. Here is an ad made by humans, for humans. It is worth comparing the two to see just how far the barometer has fallen and are we really going to accept the latest AI ad as an achievement? https://lnkd.in/eFbR37TU

New: A splash screen reintroduces you to the #virtualassistant once you enable Apple Intelligence, an early version of which is now available on the #iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max in a #developer beta. The big #Siri #AI update is still months away. This version comes with meaningful improvements to language understanding, but future updates will have more features. #AppleIntelligence #appleAI #artificialintelligence

With so many AI tools available such as Resemble.ai which has the capability of cloning your voice, PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER CALLS that are either from a number you do not know or ones that say Unknown. A simple "hello" is all that's needed. 😲

Are you ALWAYS inviting AI to the table? It’s kinda weird to see how differently people are using, or not using, AI right now. Here’s a snapshot of my world from the last 2 weeks: 🧑🏽🎓 One of my kids uses ChatGPT for almost everything. Homework, random facts, and even plotting his next big idea (how he could be one of the contesters at the great Dutch bake-off🧁 for 2025). He's using it more than Google nowadays. 👩💻 My wife? When she was struggling to build out a work roster, I told her to use chatGPT. Now she’s got AI running schedules and rosters like a boss. It’s basically her unpaid assistant. 🚂 On my commute to work I ran into the dad of one of my sons friends. We were talking about this and that, and eventually about work. He mentioned he never even used ChatGPT. Not once. After my convo, he said he would give it try (still need to check if he did it already) 😲 And then there’s this one: Someone told a colleague of mine, “AI? That’s for people who aren’t smart enough to think on their own.” That last one got me flabbergasted! 🤯 I see AI as something that can make me/us more efficient and focus on our other human strengths. But you do need to be open to use it. Probably 99.99% of the folks reading this are using AI, so if you talk to folks who aren't using it yet, just give them a nudge. They will be happy you gave them the push. 🤗 As Ethan Mollick says, “Always invite AI to the table.” It’s not here to replace your brainpower; it’s here to amplify it. 🧠 Ps. and for the People who think AI is for folks who aren't smart enough... You don't want to be like that guy who said the internet would be a flop or like Steve Ballmer when he reacted to the iPhone: https://lnkd.in/eVM_JukT
