I'm excited to share a new passion project that is close to my heart: "Single Girl’s Guide to Life." This initiative aims to empower single women to embrace their independence, pursue personal growth, and build stability in their lives. Why This Project Matters: Single women, especially those navigating significant life transitions such as post-college life, career advancements, or post-divorce, often face unique challenges. These include feelings of isolation, a lack of practical guidance, and societal pressures that can impact self-worth and decision-making. Our Mission: "Single Girl’s Guide to Life" is dedicated to providing guidance, resources, and a supportive community for single women. Our focus is on three core pillars: Growth: Encouraging personal development and continuous learning. Independence: Promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency. Stability: Offering practical advice for navigating life’s transitions with confidence. What We Offer: We provide a range of resources, including monthly ebooks, audio files, and newsletters, all aimed at helping single women build fulfilling lives. Our supportive community is a space for women to share experiences, find encouragement, and connect with others who understand their journey. Inspiration Behind the Project: This project is inspired by my personal experiences and the incredible women I have had the privilege to mentor. Their stories of resilience and determination have fueled my passion for creating a platform that supports and empowers single women in all aspects of their lives. Looking Ahead: As we grow, we plan to expand our offerings with webinars and podcasts to reach and support even more women. Our ultimate goal is to redefine what it means to be single in today's world, helping women to live independently and confidently, and to find joy and fulfillment in every season of life. Mun Meetha Karo: Chapter 2/3 When I started my thesis, I wanted it to reflect a narrative, one that many women live through every single day. I was lucky. I got what I wanted, what I dreamed of. But so many women don’t. And for those who do, the journey is rarely without struggles. I wanted to bring this narrative forward, but in a way that wasn’t preachy. We already consume so much information passively, so much that, at some point, it stops resonating with us. I wondered, what could be a different approach? A different lens? And then it clicked: A GAME. Games are interactive. They engage people. They spark conversations. They allow us to learn through experience. And maybe, just maybe, I could use this medium to share my message, indirectly, humorously, and even satirically. That’s when Mun Meetha Karo was born. The name itself is familiar to all of us, something we’ve all heard in our society. Whether it’s during weddings, when children are born, or while marking any joyous occasion, Mun Meetha Karo is a phrase that symbolizes celebration. But it got me thinking: When have we truly celebrated women’s achievements? Have we ever? This game challenges that. It shifts the narrative. Mun Meetha Karo is a game that empowers women to celebrate every Kamiyabi with a sweet reward – where every Qadam toward financial empowerment is a reason to celebrate! Games are more than just fun. They create a space for experiential learning, a flow of conversations, and a chance to reflect – all in an engaging, lighthearted way. Through humor and satire, they make even complex topics approachable. This game is an ode to all the women who inspire strength and change. To every woman striving for independence and empowerment. Mun Meetha Karo is my way of saying: Let’s start celebrating women’s achievements, let’s start honoring their journeys, and let’s start changing the narrative – one Qadam, one Kamiyabi, one Mithai at a time. 🌱 We're all farmers: what we till, grows. What we neglect, shows. 🌾 Here's a quick story: I rolled out of bed one day and decided to be an impact coach. It's funny because it's true. Several years ago, I'd left my career, causing tectonic shifts in my identity. I was raising my kids abroad and consulting part-time without a clear purpose. I founded a few schools but I was actually lost. I avalanched into a crisis. I was depressed and felt alone. By the start of the pandemic, I realized I was an alcoholic and got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease within months of each other. I needed to remake Joanna from scratch. The first thing was to become emotionally mature. I got support. I became sober in 2021. I worked diligently to naturally put the autoimmune condition into remission - primarily through my diet. I grew my capacity to heal by doing one thing differently: valuing my life. 📣 It took all this work and years of writing, to discover the purpose I have to help women create, bigger and better. Today, I am friends with so many women who have stories of success and triumph not just in the world, but within themselves. Women are born creators: we make life, we carry this energy within us in all ways and all things. And, we don't do any of it alone: we know we can't. We are born co-creators. Wells Fargo released a groundbreaking study (with WIPP Education Institute) that found women's business growth 2019-2023 outpaced that of men by nearly double. According to City of Phoenix, the metro area's growth rate was more than twice the national average. According to HubSpot, women are 11% more likely to close deals. The opportunity exists to make a meaningful impact on peoples' lives by leveraging women's growth and expansion. I'm thrilled to contribute to the fulfillment and growth of women when I announce next month some exciting opportunities to grow together. The world needs help.
