Messing about creating some concept artwork that developed out from my Tefr RPG work into a game prototype I've been working up called Krogrossi Chess. It play-tested well as a turn based tabletop game --crazy fun times -- but I still need to get a lot deeper into unreal 5, if this is ever going anywhere as a digital game. #unrealengine5 #conceptart #gamedesign

Daily Log - 16/83 (March 20 2024) Chess Automatic Gameplay Pt3 Making some good progress with the auto gameplay system. I now have a board that will automatically play through any UCI movelist. While playing through I discovered a bug with the checkmate logic of the board. I am currently working on fixing that. Ultimately I am glad that auto gameplay is in, and I like how it almost looks like multiple moves are happening at the same time. I think it would be cool to replicate that effect during the narrative version. In this video I am using placeholder static meshes.

#PersonalProject 3D online chess. I designed this game personally and independently and now I am happy that it is finished and I can put it in my resume. In this game, most of the professional chess rules are implemented, checkmate are fully programmed, and the game is completely online/LAN.
