A well defined purpose in business. This article hits home! As a salesperson in technology I was often faced with a decision; More time and effort at work to drive top of funnel and keep my employer happy, or sufficient time with my family. This is not a choice that salespeople should have to make! Our purpose at WaveLink Media is to drive inbound leads and free up time for our clients, because time is precious! By doing this we contribute to a higher quality of life for salespeople. What greater purpose is there than to raise the quality of life for the people we serve?

Purpose and Servant leadership always should come first.

I get it defining a companies purpose can be imparative to internal and external messenging. However, how about going deeper to gain understanding of the purpose. If you understand a companies and the Person’s Values you can get there. We should be measuring and making all our decisions, goals and work choices based upon our values. A consistent connection to values (your personal and the companies) will deliver increased retention rate and employee happiness. #values #goalsettting #employeeretention #happiness
