When I've spoken to people about 2023, I've said that it wasn't quite the year that we had planned for. It fact I'd say it was one of the busiest and craziest years of my time at AG. Normally what we do in legal when it comes to technology is slightly behind the curve – 2023 has felt different and we've heard from suppliers and others in the market that legal really are at the forefront of how Generative AI can be applied to work. There has been much commentary at both ends of the scale about how this will change the world and replace us all or how awful it is as it hallucinates. We are firmly in the middle and I think a lot of commentary shows a bit of a misunderstanding about how to use Generative AI especially in front line legal practice. It's been exciting this year to talk to and work with so many clients on how this technology can benefit us all – and it's been great to see such engagement across the firm, our clients and our suppliers at really pushing change, We've written a review of our experiences in 2023 when it comes to working in innovation in a law firm when a generational technological change happens – with a sneak peek into what we think 2024 might bring. https://lnkd.in/egUejSmt #genai #legaltech #legaltechnology #generativeai #legalinnovation
