But as highlighted during the meeting, over the years the discipline has moved away from its traditional purpose and this realisation requires a necessary realignment to the foundational principles of Dressage - FEI Secretary General Sabrina Ibáñez (she/her/hers) 💬 Establishing a unified vision is the essential first step in fostering a shared purpose. #Wimbledon2024 #Advertising #BrandCommunications I mentioned Range Rover's branding presence at this year's Wimbledon Championships, a few days ago. I happened to see this advert yesterday while watching a match on TV and I am aghast at the kind of thinking that has gone behind this communication. Always like never before. Screaming in all caps. What does it even mean, besides being such an oxymoron?! To make matters worse, I saw another advert which I can't find on YouTube just yet which was about IBM creating stories out of data points they collect at Wimbledon! Stories like never before, it declared in the end! If I do see it on YouTube, I shall share the link in the comments section. None of this is advertising in my opinion. And if unprofessional PR agency idiots are responsible for any of this, it just proves the point I made in my recent blog post on why the advertising industry needs to be rescued by its true practitioners and professionals. https://lnkd.in/gg-bWjEk
