A report by the Dept. for Education last week showed the gap in progression rates to higher education by age 19 between Free School Meal (FSM) eligible pupils and non-FSM eligible pupils in 2022/23 increased to the highest recorded level ever at 20.8% - up from 20.2% in 2021/22: https://lnkd.in/d7FQ2mJJ At the Bridge Group, we know the link between background and educational and employment outcomes divides our society and hinders our creative and economic productivity. The program bridges Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH) with sustainability policy and was created by the SSH CENTRE project. The course, developed by Energy Cities and hosted on the Local Transitions platform, features two interactive lessons that aim to enhance collaboration and strengthen research impact in cities. Through these lessons, participants will learn how to address research-policy challenges, select effective brokerage strategies, and implement innovative social solutions for climate transition.
