But retired IAS officer Avay Shukla wishes very much "to board Yamdoot's busy shuttle service (the last-mile connectivity) from my home, surrounded by the few family and friends whom I have not yet managed to annoy". Two major problems in that case: one, who signs his death certificate? Can he claim that his birth was not 'biological' and therefore no death certificate is needed? And two, what if he doesn't wish to be cremated? What are his options, and those of others like him? Ratan N Tata. My Mentor, My Boss at one time While nice obituaries are flying around which Mr. Tata totally deserves, what is disquieting is that no one is asking some fundamental questions. They are : 1. Why was he got to Breach Candy Hospital when he was in a such a critical condition and that too so late ? Why was he not brought maybe a week before. No one can get to such a critical stage in one day. 2. The Doctors in Breach Candy Hospital told me that he had a heart infection which had spread to the rest of the body creating Sepsis. Thry tried their level best in the ICU to eliminate the infection, but they failed. Why was he got so late. Mr. Shantanu Naidu used to stay with Mr. Tata. His EA Dilnaz has been his EA for a very long time. There were others too. How come all of them allowed his condition to become so critical that he died in less than 24 hours after bringing to the best Hospital in Mumbai which has the best Doctors and Nursing Facility. This question needs to be investigated. This is not looking normal to me at all. Was to done to usurp his wealth, property ?
