The location of assets, customers and water resources are crucial to effective operations of water utilities. Geospatial information and technologies bring together the digital locations of these features to inform decisions, operations and plans. A mature geospatial environment and supporting capabilities opens up the opportunity to explore innovation that generates further business value. Spatial Vision has been conducting national surveys of the geospatial capabilities of water utilities since 2009. The annual reports enable water authorities to benchmark their capabilities against their peers in similar authorities and help guide their future development. note that i'm fairly sure you don't need to stand diagonally to meet diagonal; but you probably could if you wished. it's also worth reflecting that one can only be diagonal with respect to a comparision point. note further that comparision points are an essential feature of the diagonal platform. coincidence? i don't know! you'd have to ask them. in any case, if you want to go and see the coolest, and also most thoughtful, technology for urban and city planning, you know where to be :)
