I automate Geometry, Data & Analysis 🤖

The parametric modeling of this one broke my brain. But it's awesome! 📽️👇 I've been helping Scawo3D and Skeno with this beautiful project! Lesson learned: If someone ever asks you if you can help automate some stairs, don't underestimate the complexity 😅. But now we can generate perfect stairs for pretty much any space - at millimeter precision! Scawo3d has made a video of the fabrication and installation, which is quite cool: https://lnkd.in/dTBXaGVc

Nice! I guess step height must have been one input parameter? 🤓 How do you work with distributing the points along each side curve, I guess you have to choose one of them or a center line when "walking through" the different steps? I mention this only as it seems like the steps are not perpendicular to the side walls. But that might of course be an architectural feature.

Amazing! What where the unforceen complexities here?

Great job Timo!

At millimeter precision and in a fraction of the time it took back then! You're working miracles on this one, Timo!

haha I feel you on that. Every stair I have worked on has been wilder than the last 🙃 always a good challenge!
