During the stages of my studies, was there an opportunity to perform my education on a Doctorate and Professer level at a NATED Government College [Port Elizabeth College] in terms of Engineering where practical training with regard to completing it where it competes against University where they assemble and construct a mechanism upon which certification is given once completed but, the NATED course at PE College, Engineering, where the Red Seal apprentices are done during Apartheid, all the way from N4 - N6 qualification was discontinued due to Democracy which had a flux in the pass rate due to many under achievers. The point I bring across is that there is a faculty of Engineering of machines [CNC Machines] that can be used in order to equip the students for mechanical aptitude since University does the same for the completion of their qualification so, based on theory, in terms of getting the best out of the Government Educational System where the PE College NATED course is still offered, it would be best to train the student on a Red Seal Certification and compete against University with their Degree. British Empire - Apartheid - Democracy: ° Oxford South Africa Curriculum; NATED [National Technical Diploma] N1 - N6.

Engineer Sheikh Zahoor Sarwar, a Governing Body Member of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), has highlighted a pressing issue facing Pakistan’s engineering sector. In a recent statement, Sarwar revealed that over 150,000 engineers are currently unemployed in the country, emphasizing urgent reforms. Sarwar did not shy away from addressing concerns about the PEC governing board’s management. He criticized the board for its lavish lifestyle, pointing out that the council’s 65-member governing body is among the largest of its kind globally. Sarwar raised concerns about board members spending millions on luxury accommodations in five-star hotels and having access to up to three official vehicles each. On the other hand, a recent study has highlighted a concerning drop in enrollments in engineering programs throughout Pakistan. Data from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) reveals a significant decline in engineering enrollments, plummeting from 16,005 in 2017 to only 3,895 in 2024, a reduction of 76%. The Engineering Entrance Test (ETEA) data from UET Peshawar highlights a sharp decline in engineering student applications over recent years. In 2018, 15,529 students applied, and the number remained high with 11,110 applicants in 2019. However, there was a significant drop in 2020 to 5,816 students, followed by a modest increase to 7,741 in 2021. The number fell again to 6,650 in 2022 and dropped to 4,579 in 2023. The latest entrance test for 2024 saw a dramatic decrease, with only 3,895 candidates participating. The industry called, and DTU answered. On September 2, a new Diploma is introduced. What makes large ships seaworthy? How are ocean waves used for energy? Additionally, how do logistics go green? All are answered in DTU's Diploma in Maritime Engineering. Mechanical engineering expertise is applied to the maritime industry in this academic field. Graduates are qualified to work with marine products and production. Due to the marine environment and swell regulations, developing sea-friendly solutions requires specialized expertise. The new Diploma in Danish Maritime Engineering major explores the ocean's limitless potential and helps solve these critical issues. What do students learn? Maritim Teknik teaches mechanical engineering and maritime industry basics. Knowledge of construction, production technology, materials theory, mathematics, mechanics, and dynamics is required. One also learns to integrate it with ocean expertise. Ship design and dimensional stability, marine energy use, and environmentally friendly maritime traffic improvement strategies are learned here. Construction, product development, and mechanics must be taken early on, along with marine environment courses. In the fourth semester, most required courses end, allowing students to focus on maritime interests like wave energy system design or shipbuilding materials. The fifth-semester internship provides more engineering knowledge. Finalize this academic journey with a diploma engineering project, ideally with an organization. Maritime mechanical engineers have many job options. Consider engineering consultancies like COWI, in shipping industry optimization, as in Maersk, or in Ørsted for offshore wind farm planning. The maritime industry is eager for engineers. Diplomas in Maritime Engineering open doors to these fascinating fields.
