You might have heard a rumour that airlines overbook flights? Well, it’s true! 💺 Airline overbooking might seem inconvenient, but there’s a rationale behind it. Here are the key points: 🗝️ ▪️ Airlines overbook to ensure that flights are as full as possible, maximizing revenue and covering operational costs. ▪️ Overbooking helps compensate for passengers who don’t show up, ensuring that empty seats are minimized. ▪️ Airlines use sophisticated algorithms and historical data to predict the likelihood of no-shows and cancellations. ▪️ Passengers who are bumped from a flight often receive compensation, rebooking, and other benefits, ensuring customer satisfaction. ▪️ Overbooking is regulated to protect passenger rights and ensure fair treatment. Understanding these reasons helps appreciate the balancing act airlines perform to keep flights efficient and economical. Is the quality increase the loyalty of passengers towards the company? The answer is: yes for sure. Quality and loyalty in aviation are closely connected, here are key aspects of this relationship: 1-Customer Experience: a positive passenger experience form booking to flight service, lead to high satisfaction and encourage to repeat it once again. 2- Trust and Reliability: consistent quality builds trust, because passengers can rely on an airline for safety, security and excellent service, so they are more likely to choose the same airline again. 3-Brand Reputation: airlines that prioritize quality develop strong brand reputation, attracting new customers and retaining the existing ones. in conclusion all airlines focused on quality are better equipped to succeed in the competitive market, and I am sure many examples just crossed your mind 😉.
