The lighting, the give aways, the technology and even the cutting edge Photo Booths - all perfectly on brand for a tech company like UMB. People are human. We talk about experiences with companies - both positive and negative. We share our experience as customers, sellers, suppliers, business partners, employees or potential employees. We talk to friends, to family, to colleagues, and write about or post content on social platforms like LI. This all impacts brand perception. So if 1000 guests at an event were to share positive content of their experience at a company event and if they each have, for example, 500 connections who in turn have 500 followers of their own… imagine the possible impressions and potential to build brand awareness and consideration - for future customers, sellers, suppliers, business partners or employees. From Client to Career Shift: My Unexpected Journey at Zharkwave I never thought that meeting Schiavon Sara who was my client back then, would totally flip my career path. After I had already moved on from my previous job, Sara reached out and offered me a position at Zharkwave, the digital marketing agency where she works, due to our past collaboration. Our discussions about her brand’s needs at that time eventually led me to join her team. That's how I ended up as an account executive at Zharkwave. It's been an incredible journey, seriously pushing me to level up in all sorts of ways. The flexibility to work from anywhere has been a significant advantage, allowing me to be just as productive, if not more. One of the most coolest projects was with a fashion designer from Vienna. We put together this digital campaign that really took off, bringing in more sales and international buzz. Seeing our plans come to life like that was amazing. At first, dealing with international clients was a challenge. My English wasn't up to par, and I'd get nervous in meetings. But thanks to a solid team and lots of practice, I've come a long way. Now, those calls are actually fun. What I dig about Zharkwave is that I'm not just some go-between. I get to dive into every aspect, throwing out ideas, solving problems, making sure everything vibes with what the client wants. It feels like I'm part of something bigger, not just clocking in and out. Reflecting on it, every hiccup has been a growth moment. From those awkward conversations to feeling more confident, this journey's been eye-opening. I had the incredible opportunity to lead brand workshops and celebrate my birthday with our crazy-good team there. 🎂 Here’s what struck me the most during this trip (besides the dance celebrations): Brand-building is not a one-off event. It's a daily alignment of the little things that define who you are as a company. I was left with these key impressions: 1️⃣ Your people ARE your brand. If your team isn’t living the brand promise, you’re not delivering it. During our workshops, we tackled how each role — big or small — plays a part in delivering the brand message. Are your people living your brand’s story? 2️⃣ Consistency = Trust. From Chennai to Dallas, your brand needs to be the same everywhere. We discussed how inconsistencies in message or tone can break the trust you work so hard to build. Does every interaction reinforce your promise? 3️⃣ Celebrate your journey. Whether it’s a birthday, a new milestone, or even a simple team achievement, celebrate every win — big or small. It’s the everyday moments that build lasting brands and why one of our core values is being a Cheerleader for the team. Today marked my last day at Schbang, and I can't help but reminisce about my first session at SCoRe with Akshay Gurnani. That interaction truly compelled me to join Schbang When this opportunity came my way, my happiness knew no bounds. I seized it without a second thought, and what I have learned over these two years has been immeasurable. Here are my top three takeaways: 1. Crisis Management: Every problem has a solution, but your attitude during challenging times can make or break a situation. Staying calm and drawing inspiration from thought leaders is key. 2. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Working with some of the best clients has taught me that when clients and agencies collaborate, they create nothing short of magic. Transparency with clients and open discussions about problems can take you far. 3. Embracing Challenges: Challenges shape us and refine our decision-making skills. Never shy away from tasks that fall outside your usual KRA. Embrace them as opportunities to grow, and tackle them with a positive attitude. I am excited about the future and eager to experience more of what this industry has to offer. I will forever be grateful to Schbang and my amazing team for shaping me into who I am today.

So in true fashion of me & Vicky Tate, we missed our 3 year business anniversary on 1st December for Tate & Harriss - Recruitment Specialists 🤦♀️But, I didn't want this opportunity to pass us by to celebrate our highs and our not so highs for this year 🙌🏻 Firstly, woohoo- we made it to 3 years Vick 🥂 I'm sure they say the first few years of a business are the hardest so it must be easy from here on out right?! 😅 Let's start with the achievements this year.. 👯♀️We've taken on two new employees, Rachel Bakiu as our Recruitment Consultant & Abbey-Lee Hare as our Administrator, who have both helped us to grow and learn as employers, but most importantly added so much value to our team and business. So thank you ladies- we're very grateful to have you with us 🫶🏻 💰YoY our net Turnover is +32%. This has been our biggest year yet. Long may it continue on this trajectory!! 📈 🫱🏼🫲🏻We've partnered with 19 new fantastic clients, in helping to build and grow their teams. 🫂 YoY we've been entrusted to help 40% more candidates secure their next opportunity. ⚙️We've implemented some great new processes to help us strategically as a business but also create efficiencies for our day-to-day tasks! The learnings we've had from the challenges we have faced: 💡We have worked on a model we believe works best for our business, in helping our team to grow. 📄We have seen the importance and value in ensuring T's are crossed and I's are dotted when it comes to having terms in place before doing any business. 💼We've stuck to our values and learnt to walk away from those who aren't aligned with us. Even if it has meant losing out on business. All in all, 2024 has been good to us, thank you ✨!! I believe in the saying, "Teamwork makes the dream work." (Here's why) In my 16+ years of experience, I've worked on many projects across various companies like Havells India Ltd, LG Electronics, Intex Technologies (India) Ltd., Huawei and Sony. From all of them, one thing is clear: teamwork is the most important thing. Every successful project I have worked on, whether launching a new product or implementing a new process, was made possible by the collaboration and support of a dedicated team. Working together to achieve a common goal, in my opinion, brings out the best in everyone on the team and promotes creative thinking and innovation. I have seen how combining different perspectives, skills, and experiences from everyone can produce incredible results. Each team member brings something unique to the table, and when we come together and combine our strengths, we can achieve things that we never could have on our own. Teamwork isn't just about getting things done. It is also about establishing relationships, trusting others and gaining support among ourselves. My 4 years at inDrive have been a continuous learning experience. Transitioning across different roles has equipped me with a diverse skillset. Transitioning across 6 distinct roles, each one enriched my skillset and broadened my perspective. My inDrive adventure began on the driver acquisition team, where I honed my skills in user acquisition strategies, performance management, conducting large-scale regional surveys, and team leadership. This experience provided a solid foundation for understanding our user base and crafting effective acquisition strategies. Shifting gears to the driver activation role allowed me to delve deeper into the user lifecycle. I actively participated in planning and executing initiatives, transforming ideas into successful activations and scaling projects across regions. Now, I'm thrilled to tackle a new challenge: driver retention! As a growing area of focus for inDrive, I'm eager to contribute to developing and implementing strategies that keep drivers engaged on our platform. Leading and nurturing a strong team has become a central focus, and I relish fostering a collaborative spirit. This diverse experience has instilled in me a love for continuous learning and adaptation. I'm grateful for the opportunities at inDrive and excited for what the future holds! Eyal Topper, your journey with us was a long one, and saying that you left a huge impact would be a huge understatement. Impact is often referred to signing a new, significant client or developing a new product—strong actions taken by hardworking, talented people that leave a mark. You’ve done so much more. Beyond many strong actions, you contributed to the Primis DNA. Your strong ethics and values, and your willingness to fight for every employee and every client, made us different. This is something that will last long after the signed contract ends and long after the newest algorithm becomes obsolete. DNA is forever.
