ATTN Stamps alumni:
We are thrilled to bring back Stamps Talks, our summer series aimed at showcasing the wisdom and experiences within our alumni community. Stamps Talks will be a series of TED-style talks where alumni like you have the opportunity to share your wisdom, perspectives, and experiences with the Stamps community via virtual presentations. Current students and alumni will be invited to tune in.
We are currently accepting proposals for talks on a wide range of topics. Whether you want to discuss your professional journey, share insights from your field of expertise, or explore a passion project/subject, we encourage you to submit a proposal. Talks should be broad enough to appeal to a wide audience, engaging, and thought-provoking. You may choose to share relevant slides or a research poster during your presentation. We will review submissions and be in touch shortly.
Here are some suggested themes, but feel free to propose topics outside of these categories:
1. Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Share your experiences in launching and scaling a business, navigating challenges, and driving innovation in your industry.
2. Leadership and Personal Development: Explore leadership principles, strategies for personal growth, and lessons learned from overcoming adversity.
3. Science and Technology: Discuss cutting-edge research, emerging technologies, and their potential impact on society.
4. Social Impact and Global Issues: Address pressing social and environmental challenges, share stories of activism and community engagement, and propose solutions for a better world.
5. Arts and Culture: Celebrate creativity in all its forms, from visual arts and literature to music and performance, and explore the role of culture in shaping identity and society.
Submission Guidelines:
- Proposals should include a title, a brief summary of your proposed talk, and a short bio highlighting what you're up to and any relevant expertise or achievements
- Talks should be approximately 20 minutes in length (this is flexible)
- Please ensure that your proposed topic aligns with the mission and values of the Stamps Scholars Program, including promoting inclusivity and constructive dialogue
How to Submit:
Please submit your proposals via the form below.
We look forward to receiving your proposals!
