Today is World AIDS Day, a day of solidarity and action in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Join us as we honor the impact of HIV/AIDS on our communities, the many lives lost, and the collective work it will take to #EndTheEpidemic. People affected by or living with HIV/AIDS often face stigma, unequal access to necessary healthcare, and a higher risk for mental health issues. There’s a role for everyone as we work towards a world without HIV, whether that’s providing mental health support, advocating for harm reduction strategies that help to aid with prevention, or working towards education and against stigma. Let’s keep learning, listening, and fighting to ensure prevention, treatment, and care for HIV/AIDS is accessible, culturally competent, and equitable for everybody. #WorldAIDSDay

Every 25 seconds, someone is newly infected with HIV. Despite advancements in medicine and prevention, the battle against HIV/AIDS is far from over. Millions still face barriers to lifesaving treatment, with stigma and discrimination often doing as much harm as the virus itself. On this World AIDS Day, we recognize the incredible progress made, but also the persistent challenges. Up to 25% of people living with HIV more than nine million worldwide still lack access to treatment. In many communities, particularly Black communities, stigma continues to create fear and silence. Behind the statistics are real people—our friends, family, and neighbors living with HIV and often afraid to share their truth. Let’s use this day as a call to action: to break the stigma, amplify compassion, and advocate for health equity. Because everyone deserves the chance to live with dignity and health. #WorldAIDSDay #BreakTheSilence #HealthForAll #EndStigma
