Head of Safety Promotion at EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency
It's less than a week now until European Rotors. One of the safety risks that we'll be talking about in the Rotorcraft Safety Zone is how to safely carry PEDs and EFBs in the cockpit.
Check out our latest video made with Mathieu VANDENAVENNE and the article crafted as always by Dr. Michel MASSON, PhD.

eVTOL safety moves forward: Archer's battery tests a success!
Archer Aviation's recent battery pack drop test results are sending positive signals across the eVTOL industry. These rigorous tests simulate extreme impact scenarios, and passing them is essential for future certification.
Why is this so important?
**Safety first: It demonstrates a commitment to building aircraft that prioritize passenger safety, even in unlikely accident scenarios.
**Investor confidence: Success in these tests boosts investor confidence as eVTOL companies move towards commercialization.
**Accelerating timelines: This puts Archer in a stronger position for FAA certification, potentially speeding up the time it takes to bring their aircraft to market.
As a recruiter focused on eVTOL, I know companies need the brightest minds to navigate this complex, groundbreaking work. If you're ready to build the future of transportation, let's connect!
Feeling the effects of jet lag after a long flight? Don't worry, you're not alone! Many travelers experience this common issue. But with a few simple strategies, you can minimize its impact and enjoy your trip to the fullest.
In this video, we'll share practical tips to help you combat jet lag and adjust to your new time zone.💤🕝
In order to influence our future, we have to understand our past.
Thats one of the reasons I keep highlighting accidents from long ago.
Without these accidents, we wouldn’t have many of the procedures and protections we have today and without understanding the reasons behind them, we are doomed to repeat them.. just in new ways.
This weeks Mentour Pilot video is dedicated to the last major accident to happen on Tenerife. One that has been obscured by the terrible runway collision that happened just a few years before.
This accident highlighted the importance of clear, two way communication, as well as adherence to established emergency procedures.

Insight into a small bit of progress #NavyX and #PTBK have made. A step closer to maritime autonomy making it into service.
Great to be apart of progress and the future landscape of maritime sector.

What was it like to be a passenger on Flight 1549 and crash land on the Hudson River?
Chapter 12 of Superhabits: The Universal System for a Successful Life is about practical wisdom, the superhabit for making wise decisions. It tells the story of the moment-by-moment decisions that the pilot of Flight 1549, Captain Sullengberger, had to make correctly in the scant 3-1/2 minutes between the impact with a flock of birds that knocked out both of the plane's engines, to land the plane safely and save the lives of everyone on board.
The chapter draws from many good sources, including the lengthy official accident report and also Captain Sullenberger's autobiography, but we did not have the benefit of speaking to anyone who was actually on the flight.
Until now. Josh Peltz was a passenger on Flight 1549 that day. We met, interestingly enough, on LinkedIn. He read chapter 12 of Superhabits, and today we spoke about his experience on the flight, and the long term impact it has had on him.
After countless hours of digging into the secondary sources while doing research for the book, it was thrilling to speak to someone who was actually there.
