Ever wondered what lawyers and doctors have in common? 🤔 : 1. Precision is Key: Doctors have precision with scalpels, lawyers with words. Both can leave a lasting impact! 2. Consultation Fees: Both charge for their time, and somehow, it always feels like a fortune. 3. Specialized Jargon: Doctors have medical terms, lawyers have legalese. Either way, you’ll need Google to understand! 4. Emergency Calls: Midnight calls? Doctors handle medical crises, lawyers handle legal emergencies. Sleep is a luxury for both! 5. Mysterious Prescriptions: Doctors prescribe medicines, lawyers prescribe contracts. Good luck deciphering either without help! 6. Life-Savers: One saves lives, the other saves…well, your life’s work, sometimes! 😉 Next time you’re in need, remember: a lawyer and a doctor are more alike than you think. Both are essential, both are skilled, and both have a knack for giving you heart palpitations—albeit for different reasons! #Lawyers #Doctors #Humor #LifeOfAProfessional

Today I walked across the stage and made it official! What a wonderful feeling it was to see everyone who put in the work and effort just as I did. The sacrifices, the dedication, the determination, the commitments, and the passion was all I needed to get where I am. If you believe it you can achieve it! I am Dr. Shanna Williams✨ #DoctorOfBusinessAdministration

Sunday trivia fun Can you guess what I wanted to be when I grew up? (No cheating and 🤫 if you already know) ❓ ❓ Answer: Chief Medical Examiner and super sleuth detective Kay Scarpetta of Patricia Cornwell fame! 😮 Do I still want to be that? No, and I've decided that I'm not going to grow up so I no longer need to answer the original question! 🤪 What about you? What did you want to be when you grew up? Are you doing it? People are still struggling to get in contact with their loved ones in WNC. An inability to communicate is making recovery efforts more difficult. Infrastructure is something that remains invisible until it breaks down. How can we as professionals make change so that our telecommunication infrastructure is more resilient and likely to remain invisible in the face of disaster? #resilience #telecommunication

World 1, Paul Bloedow 0!! It has been one of those days, when it seemed like I was a punching bag for the world. Looks like I am going to have to "tap" out early at 8:49pm on the "fourth quarter" of my typical work day and nurse my wounds to try and be ready for tomorrow's battle. Matt Symes has a great post today about: 1. If you are lost, the answer is education 2. If you are educated, the answer is action 3. If you are acting, the answer is consitency I am stuck at #2: I can "talk the talk", but am having trouble "walking the walk". I know that "documentation & delegation" are the only way to escape the "nobody can do it like me" anthem, but find myself so deep in the weeds I don't get the "weedeater" started every day. His note that we need to "get 1% better in every process around the clear and controllable" struck a chord with me. Time to start taking a 'bite" out of this elephant every day!! www.businessroundtable.ca

Subordinates? Weak? Since when Pharma industry became Mercenary or Infantry ! Too much Full Metal Jacket stuff? Do you make your subordinates call you Sir? They are just untrained . We train them to do the job. They usually pick up from there, to do a better job. I much prefer a flatter structure to hierarchy, cremation to burial, and all three to a weekend with my ex-wife or a peep from the Ivory tower. If they are really weak, you recruited wrong people. As a rule, we recruit average people, after assessing their learning skills and adaptability at the time of interview.
Agree? Dr. Birendra Singh
