Education is the key.

Some of us are givers, some of us are takers, most of us are matchers, according to Adam Grant in his book “Give and Take.” Takers - want to extract the most value for themselves in every transaction. Matchers - are concerned about reciprocity in relationships- fair and square. Givers - go into every relationship with the intention of giving more value to others. Charlie Munger, Warren Buffet, Mohnish Pabrai - all Givers. Some of us operate differently in different spheres: “We tend to compartmentalize giving, reserving a different set of values for the sphere of work.” Covey talks about “Integrity” being governed by the same foundational principles in every situation. What about you? Are you a giver, taker or a matcher? If you would call yourself a giver - is this true in every sphere of your life?
