SMD Africa Marine’s Post

Part of learning is unlearning outdated closely held ideas, some of those are those ideas what made you successful in the past. In the last week we met with the #wearegrupoarbulu companies and shared some ideas on what the future could look like. These meetings cause a shift in how we SMD Africa Marine see the environment we operate in and how we adapt and respond.

Last week, Grupo Arbulu companies gathered in Mallorca for our annual meeting, an event that goes far beyond business discussions. It’s a time for us to reconnect, share ideas, and celebrate the diversity and specialisation that make our group unique. Over the course of three days, we heard inspiring presentations from our companies e3 Systems - Connectivity on the move, Nautical, THALOS, Marine Instruments, Aage Hempel Group, NAVTEAM A/S, SILECMAR, Radio Electronic (PTY) Ltd and SMD Africa Marine. We also explored key topics like AI’s potential in our industry, along with strategies for growth and talent development.   One of the key highlights was an insightful session led by Diego Soroa, whose talk on the adoption of Generative AI sparked meaningful conversations across the group. It challenged us to rethink how this cutting-edge technology can reshape our industry and the way we deliver value.   What truly stands out at these meetings is not just our shared goals, but the sense of belonging to a group built on solid principles of trust, collaboration, and innovation. The diversity of expertise within Grupo Arbulu is our greatest strength, and it allows us to deliver the best solutions and services for our clients worldwide. #wearegrupoarbulu
