Where has 20 years in Real Estate Sales gone? I can’t believe what a ride this has been and all the lessons I’ve learned along the way. “Fake It till You Make It” This was one of the first quotes that someone said to me in my first year as a new agent. The second quote was “Try Not to Get Sued”. You passed the test, now what? The feeling you get when you’re standing at the desk waiting for your results to print is intense. When it finally sinks in that you passed there is no better feeling. Then the big question hits you, now what? My decision was a no-brainer and I wanted to get into new construction. Highrise condominiums were going up left and right in Downtown Seattle along with Apartment Conversions. I knew instantly this was the direction I wanted to go and hung my license with a new home builder and worked for many years in Luxury Highrise Condominium Sales. When the market crashed, I had to quickly figure out how to survive and changed course and went into New Home Residential Sales. In this business you must learn to move with the market and be able to adapt as it’s always changing. Every time you sell a house, you also sell your sell out of a job. Stay tuned...

Hey, builder sales reps! What's the hardest deal on your plate right now? Is it a homeowner stuck in their current place and unsure they can sell for the price they need? Or a family eager to move into a quick move home this summer but trapped in a lease until January? 🏡 In today’s wild market, it’s not always about throwing extra incentives at the problem. Sometimes, it’s the creative solutions that seal the deal. 🎨 When I joined Marketplace Homes in 2011, nearly half of Metro Detroit’s mortgages were underwater. Hardworking families needed to move but couldn’t qualify for new homes without our Guaranteed Lease program. In 2012, we drove over 10% of all new construction sales in Michigan, even though we only sold in the Detroit area. For many of our builder partners, we were behind 50-80% of their sales that year and continued for several years afterward. Talk about game-changing! As we grew nationwide, it was amazing to work for a company that helped families move when no one else could. As the market improved, we helped those early homeowners sell their starter homes, building equity with guaranteed rent. But every great idea gets imitated. While other big-name companies tried to copy our products, they missed one key ingredient: the human touch. ❤️ Here’s a fact: During COVID, when many competitors were bailing on deals, we didn’t cancel a single one. Instead, we pulled out all the stops to help builder sales reps save deals with creative solutions. All the tech and algorithms in the world are great, but at the end of the day, you need the human touch to make things happen. So, let’s get real – how can Marketplace Homes help you close more deals today? Drop a comment or DM me! Let’s chat and make some magic happen. #RealEstate #BuilderSales #MarketplaceHomes #HomebuyingSolutions #HumanTouch #NewConstruction #NewConstructionSales #HomeBuilders #SalesSolutions #CreativeDeals #GuaranteedLease
