2024 has been quite a year for our team and our company. ✨Here are some highlights and 2025 prospects: 2024: 🏆At a sudden point, people were joking my job seemed to consist of receiving awards haha. Our company came into the national spotlight several recognitions: -Belgian Changemakers Award 2024, by De Tijd, L'Echo and BNP Paribas Fortis . -Belgian industrial water innovation award by B-IWA (Belgian-International Water Association) and watercircle.be -JCI (Junior Chamber International) Entrepreneur of the year in the province of East Flanders Awards are not the best proof of success and we’ve always been looking at them quite rationally. However, it just made our team (and customers) super proud. This energy is something we’ll certainly use in 2025. And I was amazed how awards help building a brand. The spotlight is something young innovative businesses can really use. We believe we’ve won those awards because we aim for big change, not just incremental innovation. 🌍We travelled the world to change our industry for the better. Multiple countries in Europe, US, Canada, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand… yet: we also developed significant business in our home country Belgium 🇧🇪 and of course with our great neighbours Netherlands 🇳🇱 🎪We moved to the iconic tech hub Wintercircus Ghent . One of the key highlights in 2024. And 2025? This year will be a year of significant growth. 🚀We’re establishing major contracts with key customers around the globe. Bigger, long-term, strategic, fun. ⚙️Our team is working hard on tomorrow’s solutions, tackling key global water challenges. 📈We are positioning ourselves as a leader in our digital water niche and are establishing key partnerships with major industry players. 😇Personally, I’ll be involved in some new key boards and strategic exercises with companies and customers. I’ll also be a jury member of Changemakers 2025. And I think I can find some more equilibrium between my family and business. Thanks all of you here on LinkedIn for the continuous support. It really means a lot to me, and to us. ❤️Happy new year. #waterindustry #digitalwater

What if innovation wasn’t just for techies, but for all of us? 🚀 At the Digital Marketing Asia conference, I had an absolute blast introducing the SERA innovation framework - seeding curiosity about how anyone can innovate! The SERA framework—Simplify, Explore, Radical Ideation, and an App for that —empowers people to unlock their innovation potential. It’s about cultivating the right mindsets (courage, curiosity, creativity) and skillsets (the framework) needed to tackle problems differently, think radically, and turn ideas into action—regardless of the technology. 🧠💥 The feedback was incredible! Seeing those lightbulb moments as people realized that everyone can drive innovation—with the right mindset and tools—was truly a game-changer. ⚡️ Innovation is within reach for all of us, every day. A huge thanks to the Digital Marketing Asia team for such an engaging, informative and beautifully run event! Rebecca Learoyd Rezwana Manjur Soren Beaulieu Shoutout to my fellow speakers! Exciting News from The Experientialists! We’re thrilled (and honestly, a little amused) to announce that our very own Lou Pizante has been invited to join the World Experience Council. Yes, you read that right—Lou will now be sitting alongside the greatest minds shaping the future of the Experience Economy. How did this happen? Well, we assume the universe has a sense of humor, or maybe there was a mix-up with the guest list. Either way, we're here for it! The World Experience Council is home to the people who make the experiences we all love unforgettable—from immersive art to tech that’s a little too smart for its own good. Meanwhile, Lou’s big breakthrough this week was finally figuring out how to stop his phone from autocorrecting his name to “Loud.” We’ll call it a victory. The WXO - World Experience Organization is approaching 1,000 members from across the globe, and it’s one of the most inspiring and supportive communities we’ve ever encountered. If you’re in the world of experiential arts and entertainment—whether you’re starting your career or leading the charge—we can’t recommend joining enough. And we couldn’t be prouder of Lou, even if we’re slightly concerned that he’s already mispronounced "experiential" in his first meeting. Big thanks to James Wallman and the WXO for trusting Lou to bring... whatever it is he brings to the table. We’re excited to see how he (and we) can help shape the future of experiences! #WorldExperienceCouncil #ProudButStillConfused #ExperienceEconomy #TeamExperientialists
We're pleased to announce the formation of the inaugural World Experience Council! 🥳 As the WXO - World Experience Organization nears its first 1,000 members, this team of global experience visionaries will play a pivotal role in guiding us into the next phase of our growth – and power the ongoing evolution of the Experience Economy, of course. The World Experience Council brings together a wealth of expertise from both the creative and commercial aspects of the Experience Economy. With centuries of combined experience and decades of pioneering advancements in the science, technology, art, impact, and measurement of experiences, these leaders will provide invaluable insights and guidance. “The collective wisdom of the World Experience Council will not only be instrumental in shaping the WXO’s future, but also help steer it in its mission to enrich the world with exceptional experiences and transform quality of life for all humans on planet Earth,” said the WXO’s CEO, James Wallman. Discover the full list of experience creators, investors, producers, operators, commissioners, professors, scientists and entrepreneurs behind the World Experience Council in the comments below 👇 #wxo #worldexperienceorganization #experiencenews #experienceeconomy #experiences #experience #worldexperiencecouncil

🚀 2024: The year I discovered that true innovation happens when you stop choosing paths and start connecting them. This year was a masterclass in strategic flexibility and I realized something powerful: the most exciting breakthroughs happen at the intersection of corporate leadership and entrepreneurial thinking. My journey this year broke down some serious industry barriers: • Stepped into SVP, Commercial Strategy and Marketing at Stagevision, scaling the next great event production company • Continued driving Hurley Growth Strategies, helping event services companies grow with strategic marketing insights • Led MPI Toronto Chapter, fostering a community of forward-thinking event professionals I only posted a few times, but these three posts that captured the essence of this incredible year: 1. "New Horizons at Stagevision" Embracing a role that lets me drive innovation from the inside: https://lnkd.in/g7Hx8Jkx 2. "AI: Your New Problem-Solving Partner" Revealing how AI tools are more than just technology - they're strategic collaborators: https://lnkd.in/gDwqdbgt 3. "Passing the MPI Torch" Reflecting on community leadership and collective growth: https://lnkd.in/gxizgXPU The biggest lesson? Innovation isn't about having all the answers. It's about asking better questions, staying curious, and creating spaces where technology and human creativity can truly collaborate. Looking ahead to 2025, I'm laser-focused on: • Scaling Stagevision's market presence and visibility • Helping event professionals leverage emerging technologies • Continuing to bridge corporate innovation with entrepreneurial agility • Becoming a vocal champion for AI's transformative potential in the events industry To every event professional feeling overwhelmed by technological change: Your adaptability is your greatest asset. Embrace it. Here's to turning challenges into opportunities, one strategic move at a time. 💡 #EventTech #AIinEvents #Leadership #EventProfs #Innovation #LinkedInRewind #Coauthor #2024wrapped -- Get your 2024 LinkedIn Rewind!
