Are you looking to work or move to Indonesia? (or maybe even Bali?)☀️ Read this! ☀️ Indonesia Work Visa Overview - Short and Long-term visas, which are sponsored at Deel. 1. Short-Term Work Visa (Visit Visa) The Visit Visa (Visa Kunjungan) allows foreign nationals to enter Indonesia for short-term business purposes, such as attending meetings, conferences, or short-term projects. Duration: Typically valid for 30 days, extendable for another 30 days. Eligibility: Requires an invitation from a company or organization in Indonesia. Application: Apply at an Indonesian embassy or consulate before travel. 2. Long-Term Work Visa For longer assignments, the Long-Term Work visa is the primary work visa: Purpose: Suitable for foreign workers with a job offer from an Indonesian company. Duration: Initially valid for up to 12 months, renewable for a total of up to 5 years. Eligibility: Requires a work permit (IMTA) and proof of a valid job offer. Sponsorship Through Employer of Record (EOR) Utilizing an Employer of Record (EOR) can simplify the sponsorship process for both visa types: EOR/Employee of Record Role - (Sponsored by Deel) The EOR acts as the legal employer, handling compliance, paperwork, and payroll for the employee. Benefits: This allows companies to hire international talent without establishing a legal entity in Indonesia, making it easier to manage both short-term and long-term assignments while ensuring compliance with local laws. Conclusion: The Visit Visa is ideal for short-term business trips, while the VITAS serves as the primary option for long-term work in Indonesia. Using an EOR can streamline the sponsorship process for both visa types, facilitating international employment in the country. The Ultimate Guide for Foreigners Entering Malaysia : Although obtaining a Malaysian work visa is possible, the process can be more complicated compared to some other nations. Here’s why: 👫 Protection of Local Workforce: Malaysia aims to support its economic growth while ensuring that job opportunities for local citizens are safeguarded. 👨⚖️ Strict Worker Quota System: The government regulates the number of foreign workers allowed in certain industries through a quota system. This limits the number of available visas and increases the level of competition, making visa approval harder. 👩🎓 Complex Eligibility Requirements: Education Qualifications, Experience, BGV and Salary standards. ⏰ Extended Application Processing Times: Visa applications ETA 1-3 Months for approval, which can delay business operations or extend job search periods. -------------------------------------------------------- Visa Types and Regulations 📜 👩💼Professional Visit Pass (PVIP): Short-term stays for business purposes, not exceeding 6 months. 👷♂️Employment Pass (EP): Issued to skilled professionals with specific qualifications and experience. 👨👩👦Dependent Pass: Permits dependents of EP holders to reside in Malaysia -------------------------------------------------------- 🤔 Foreign Workers will face the below difficulties: 😐 Inability to Apply Independently: Individuals are not able to register for a visa on their own. ⛔ Restricted Access in Certain Sectors: Visa options may be limited in industries critical to the development of local talent. 🏃♂️ High Competition for Limited Quotas: The number of visas available for certain professions or nationalities is often restricted, increasing competition. Last week I wrote an article about the One Pass, a new working visa available to foreign talent working in Singapore 🇸🇬 Here are some more facts! The salary requirements I shared last week can be waved if the individual has outstanding achievements in sport ⚽️ art 🖼️ culture 🎭 academia 📚 or research 🧫 Not only that, those on a One Pass can open their own company, but they must hire 5 Singaporeans/PR and pay them a minimum salary of $5,000 a month. 🧑💼👨💼👩🏼💼 not only is this great for expats who want to set up a business, but for the local workforce 🙌🏾 You can read the whole article in depth at DanielleTeboul.com #linkinbio #singaporeexpat #financialplanner #expatsinsingapore #workinginsingapore #socialinfluencernetwork

#ThisOneIsForYouCutie - Below is an excerpt from a LinkedIn messaging conversation with Dato' Azmi Mohd Ali, the CEO of the respected Malaysian law firm Azmi & Associates. The conversation demonstrates another attempt via any means to secure a work visa here in Malaysia. Unfortunately, Dato' Azmi Mohd Ali never did revert back to me. The good news is that now there is a viable work visa option, but more on this later. I'm not finished with the history quite yet. There are a lot of reasons to like Malaysia. By now, you should begin to see a pattern. Although I never physically met most of the people in my story, they are all professional people, many connected to the government, and all knew of my circumstances. The question I keep asking is, "How and why did all these professional people turn a blind eye to my extreme poverty and starvation?" The bigger question is about personal values. As dramatic as it may sound, the only way the human race and much of the life on earth will survive is through our personal values. If someone believes they have the moral authority to deny someone the human right to work and earn an income, resulting in extreme poverty and starvation, what else do they believe they have the moral authority to do? Resolving the past is the only solution to a future. Khairuddin Rahim - Sofiyan Yahya - Ir Dr Shahreen Madros
