Trying to figure how to talk to young people about consent? No worries! try these three things this week. 💡 Use everyday moments. Maybe when watching TV or at the park. Point out good and bad examples. 💡 Start with easy topics. Talk about hugs or phone borrowing first. These are simple ways to explain consent. Then move to more complex things. 💡 Listen and answer questions. Answer honestly and clearly. 💡 Discuss digital consent. Talk about sharing photos or personal information online. 💡 If you’re a parent, create a "consent culture" at home. Ask for permission before entering their room or borrowing their things Now, which tip would you try first?

Are you on the right path? Many of us ask that question after 5 to 10 years in our career when you are feeling unfulfilled or missing something in your life. If you want to talk about how to find your path as a leader, DM me and let me guide you to a life of fulfillment.
One simple hack to try if you don’t feel fulfilled by your career: Color code your calendar. 🟪 Things you love 🟦 Things you sort of love 🟧 Things you don’t like 🟥 Things you hate What colors take up the majority of your time? Make adjustments to get more purple in your life. Claudette Powell spent years in the advertising and entertainment industry before she came to terms with the fact that these were talents that *other people* saw in her and not what she saw for herself. When she color coded her calendar, she realized the purple in her life was her time spent at church. She decided to pursue her calling to become a nun and she says she’s never been more happy or fulfilled in her entire life. What is your “purple”? Is it how you spend the majority of your time? Let us know in the comments. Watch the full episode of #Catalyst: https://lnkd.in/gjaz9wEE

Frame matters just as much the picture it holds. Messenger matters just as much as the message he carries. Think about it: It's not just about what's being said, it's about who's saying it and how they're saying it. The messenger—the face, voice, and personality behind the message and the way the message is presented — carries the essence of its identity and values. The authenticity, passion, and presentation can significantly influence how the message resonates with the audience. Let's give a shoutout to all the messengers out there, rocking the delivery game with style and flair, making sure every message hits home! 🚀🌟 #FrameAndMessenger #MessageMatters #DeliveryIsKey #CommunicationMagic #AuthenticCommunication #BrandPerception

🔑 Are you showing the real you online? In today’s digital world, it’s easy to fall into the trap of sharing only the polished, professional version of ourselves. But here’s the truth: authenticity is what truly connects you with your audience. Take Oprah Winfrey, for example. Before she became the global icon we know today, Oprah was a news anchor. Despite her success, she realized that hard news wasn’t her true passion. What lit her up? Authentic, heart-to-heart conversations. By making the bold move to host a daytime talk show, Oprah didn’t just share the news—she shared her true self. And by doing so, she built a global community of people who felt connected to her, not just as a host, but as a person. 🌍 So, how does this relate to you and your business? When you share what truly lights you up—whether it’s your passion, expertise, or personal story—you build trust with your audience. People don’t just want to hear about your product or service; they want to connect with YOU. What part of your story have you been hiding? How can you share it more authentically with your audience?

Haven't had the DIFFICULT Christmas conversation yet? Here's how to start it using the "WWW. con4sation opener". What: "I need to talk about Christmas." Why: "This year I want to (add the reason for the conversation)" Wonder: "Tell me your thoughts" Then the DOT... The "dot" means shut up and listen. You'll probably need to ask a few more questions, and clarify your understanding of the other person's point of view, BEFORE you give your thoughts on the subject (but don't add those thoughts if they are only being said to make YOU feel better). Merry Christmas everyone.
