*️⃣FREE Article of the Week *️⃣ Study uncovers that preconditioning with low shear stress yields enduring impacts on endothelial cell traction and orientation, persisting even after transitioning to high-shear conditions. Using Granger causality analysis, we demonstrate a functional link between the direction of cell traction and subsequent cellular alignment across varying shear environments. Another piece of research on the modelling of thermal neutron cross sections of complex materials for dose calculations. Here we use our Average Functional Group Approximation on polymers with variable loadings of water, to reproduce total scattering cross sections measured at ISIS Neutron and Muon Source.
Dear colleagues, The publication of the papers related to the third edition of the SICC Series - CBRNe conference (https://lnkd.in/dgysdj5) held in Rome at the Istituto Superiore Antincendi last September 2023 is in progress. Here is the article published by EPJ Plus and indexed on SCOPUS and ISI WEB of SCIENCE: Margherita Simoni, CARLA ANDREANI, Laura Fazi, Emiliano Fratini, Teresa Guaragnone, Matthew Krzystyniak, Anna Prioriello, Roberto Senesi & Giovanni Romanelli (2024).
