Here’s some weekend takeaways: 📊 The Numbers: • Content: Dancing chicken and waffles video • Platform: Instagram • Views: Nearly 1 MILLION (and counting!), 100k interactions, and over 50k shares! • This reel took my following on Instagram to over 120k! 🔍 Key Insights: 1. Visceral visuals + catchy, unexpected music = winning formula 2. Sometimes, the unexpected resonates most with audiences. A lot of comments literally said, “What did I just watch!?” 3. When you hit a stresk, lean into it 🧠 The Takeaway: In the fast-paced world of social media, agility is key. When you stumble upon unexpected success, don't shy away—embrace it, double down, and build upon it. I did this by altering my workflow in such a way to allow for two unique characters on a stable background! Why I'm Not Chasing Viral Moments (And You Shouldn't Either) Everyone's talking about the next viral post, but here's the thing: I'm not convinced that virality should be the end goal. Sure, those big hit moments are exciting, but there's a hidden cost. Often, brands get caught in a cycle, sacrificing authenticity and burning through resources just to get that one spike. But what if the real win is building something that lasts? Instead of going for temporary success, I believe in creating consistent, targeted content that resonates with the right people, our audience. When we focus on quality and connection over quick hits, we build something that sticks. It's less about explosive numbers and more about the relationships and loyalty that carry us forward. Virality is great if it happens organically, but growth fueled by intention? That's the ultimate goal. So, if you're in it for the long game, don't worry about breaking the internet. Focus on building something real, one post at a time.
