Starting September 4th, all donations will be matched DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR - doubling your impact! For many kids, participating in competitive sports has a profound impact that lasts a lifetime. From improved physical and mental health to better grades in school and developing leadership skills, participation in sports - particularly competitive sports - can be a game changer. But we also know that the costs associated with such participation - from club fees and travel to new gear and uniforms - can be a barrier for entry for many families, leaving their athletes on the sidelines. That’s where CHANCE SPORTS steps in to help. By providing partial scholarships to families with financial need, we are removing barriers and supporting our young athletes in their desire to PLAY! Last week, my 10 year old asked me if I “liked my job” L.O.L. Truth is, I LOVE what I do. I LOVE taking time to think about how to create spaces and opportunities to leverage AMPT: Advancing Nonprofits for BIPOC led organizations to have access to more resources and funding. I LOVE watching reels and reading social media posts from nonprofits who tell beautiful stories about what they’re able to do with a grant from AMPT. I love facilitating cohorts and sharing insights with other executive directors. I love leaning into our values and anti racist practice to reimagine what nonprofit management can look like and accomplish. This #GivingTuesday give to AMPT: Advancing Nonprofits.
