Your event needs registrations. But attendees are waiting to sign up. Here's how to fix this: Key = increase value and ROI with event attendance. Most importantly: Showing this early. With budgets moved from annually to quarterly, here's the plan: 1. Increase social proof of your event. Showcase past events: - Testimonials - Success stories - Attendee experiences This builds excitement and demonstrate ROI. 2. Optimize your pricing scheme. Marketing price increases instead of price reductions. Inverse psychology/FOMO, contributes to making that decision. 3. Go all-in on value creation for those registered - Get them connected to relevant connections - Get them interacting with sponsors - Get meetings scheduled Fill up their calendars. They will reach out to colleagues, execs, and decision makers to also register due to awesome ROI already happening! When attendees can see value, they will register. So go all-in on spreading this message, early and wide. #events #eventprofs #b2bmarketing

So, how do you bring the intimacy and connection of smaller events to your large, flagship events? Last week, an event partner asked me a critical question: How can you tell if a sponsor is game-ready for the event? The answer, I feel, lies in their ability to share their perfect 3 lunch guests at a table of 4 and the exact questions they'd ask before dessert is served. Easy for some, not for all - so to ensure your team is fully prepared and engaged throughout the event, here are some key steps (in my humble opinion) to follow: - Walk your onsite sales team through the event brief and steps to invest their full attention over 1-2-3 days, remaining PRESENT and DELIBERATE with executing your marketing budget. - Study the agenda, speakers, topics, and session locations to understand when your top prospects will be available and prepare insightful questions that demonstrate genuine interest in their world. - Identify your best storyteller onsite who can effectively explain your product, its origins, and unique selling points to help your team learn from the best in action (not in theory). - Utilize swag and gifts strategically (or not at all) to support your product, storytelling, or create a memorable experience for attendees. - Conduct a team dry-run to role-play interactions with top prospects, ensuring ice-breaking conversations lead to productive meetings or follow-ups (not just the next holiday plan or favourite coffee spot). Being event game-ready means understanding your purpose at the event and seizing every opportunity with thorough preparation. #EventPlanning #Networking #BusinessStrategy
