For most #B2B websites we design, #leadgeneration is the main objective. But what makes a good lead gen website? Here are 5 tips. 1. A good user experience. B2B websites fall well behind B2C in this area. B2B buyers want to be able to find products quickly and easily. They want to find answers to all their questions about your products. Give the customer what they want and they'll be knocking on your door. 2. Differentiate your website. B2B websites tend say the same thing, such as "We're market leaders", "We're the best at...." 😫 An appealing website isn't just about design. It's about your proposition, your benefits and how your product solves the buyers problem. 3. Get the leads. Too many B2B websites don't even try to get a lead. Add effective Calls To Action with stand out buttons. Give them something of value, like a buying guide, with a short data capture form. 4. Show the evidence. Where's the proof of your claims? Testimonials, case studies, reviews, comparison charts....all powerful content that makes you credible and more appealing to the buyer. 5. Test it and change it.
