🎓 Exciting News: My journey through the Master's program in Gestión Administrativa has officially begun! And what is the first deep dive? Deontology—the ethical backbone that supports professional standards of behaviour. It's boring, say you?🌟 📚 In this topic, we'll explore the role these norms play in safeguarding society from unscrupulous professionals. Well, it sounds really boring... However, through my professional life like a lawyer, I've come to believe that adhering to these standards isn't just about societal protection. In reality, maintaining ethical practices serves us as professionals just as much, if not more. Operating with integrity is a safeguard for ourselves—protecting our careers and cultivating a reputation that opens doors and builds lasting trust. 🔍 I discovered that acting ethically it's about building a foundation for success that benefits everyone involved, starting with ourselves. But I know a lot of people who think that ethics aren't valuable. Well, as I embark on this studying, I look forward to uncovering how these principles apply here in Spain in everyday professional scenarios and truth life. #MastersJourney #EthicsInAction #ProfessionalGrowth #DeontologyDiscussion

🎉 Exciting Milestone Achieved! 🎓 I am thrilled to announce the successful completion of the course on Research Ethics based on the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2: CORE 2022) from Government of Canada!! Throughout this course, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the ethical principles guiding research involving human participants. Key learnings include: 1. Respect for Persons: Understanding the importance of informed consent and recognizing the autonomy of individuals in research. 2. Concern for Welfare: Learning how to assess and mitigate risks to participants while ensuring their well-being. 3. Justice: Ensuring fairness in the distribution of research benefits and burdens, particularly for vulnerable populations. 4. Research Ethics Review: Gaining insights into the role of Research Ethics Boards (REBs) and the importance of ethical oversight in research projects. This certification is not just an academic achievement; it reinforces my commitment to conducting research that respects and protects the rights and dignity of all participants. It has equipped me with the tools to navigate the ethical complexities in research and to advocate for responsible and ethical research practices in my future endeavors. A heartfelt thank you to my professor #katarinaohlsson who supported me on this journey. I am excited to apply this knowledge in my career and contribute positively to the field of research! #ResearchEthics #TCPS2 #EthicalResearch #ContinuousLearning #ProfessionalDevelopment

Navigating the ethical considerations of human research is essential, particularly when engaging with new jurisdictions. Ethical guidelines are often less defined or enforced in developing regions, primarily due to limited awareness. This underscores the importance of thoroughly understanding and adhering to ethical standards when conducting research, especially in developed jurisdictions. To enhance my expertise, I recently completed the course "Navigating the Ethics of Human Research Based on the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2: CORE 2022)" in Canada. While initially a way to stay productive during the holiday season, this course has significantly transformed my approach to research involving human participants. Its insights are invaluable not only within Canada but also for ensuring ethical compliance in diverse research settings globally. This learning experience has been a pivotal step in aligning my research practices with international ethical standards, reinforcing the importance of respect, integrity, and accountability in human research. Thanks to the University of New Brunswick for facilitating this training.
