Do you want to see some nice #UI #animations? This is what I've been cooking up last week! I've finished the interactions in the building area using #DOTween Animation, and the more I play with it, the more I like it. There are so many possibilities to create a cool UI in #Unity. I'm really happy with it overall, but if I had to pick just one highlight, it would be the FIX ribbon on top of the cards. Making it a seamless animation gives it that Sci-Fi look it needs. Additionally, the hexagonal fade animation I made with a mask group turned out great. Next on my list is the #Stickers menu with the illustrations I made. However, I had an amazing idea for a #Loading Screen for this hypothetical game, and I'm probably going to do that first because I'm excited to show you! These always feel like Magic to me! ✨ Definitely one of my favourite personal projects: bringing prints to life through the enchanting AR app, Artivive. The app's brilliance lies in its simplicity – just point your camera at the image, the app detects it, then tracks in your video. ✏️There were a few challenges! The original images featured just the characters. But we found that with such graphics characters, sharing a limited colour pallet, the App couldn’t detect them. After numerous trials and tweaks, we discovered that adding a few background details did the trick—no compromises on character design needed! As someone who loves comic book art and 2D animation, I've always been fascinated by the idea of creating a game like 'Hollow Knight.' It's been on my bucket list for ages and has inspired me greatly. My ultimate dream is to make a Metroidvania-style game based on my comic book, 'Zamora.' But since I'm not a coding genius, I've been teaching myself game development bit by bit. To make the game, I've been working on hand-drawn comic-style animation sprites and backgrounds that perfectly capture the look and feel of the game's world and characters. It's been challenging at times but also super rewarding. To bring my vision to life, I'm using the Unreal engine, which lets me seamlessly mix my hand-drawn sprites and backgrounds. I'm also using Paper ZD, a powerful plugin that helps me combine my 2D animations with the Unreal engine. Overall, I'm pumped about how far I've come and can't wait to see the game take shape. I can create something that blows my mind with some hard work and dedication.
