Show your appreciation. How often do we not yearn to be recognised and seen. Appreciated for who we are and what we do. Supported in our work and deeds. Now flip that on its head. How often do you show appreciation, recognise and see? Appreciate people for who they are and what they do. Support them openly and freely in their work and deeds for others to see. That which you lack, give to others. And see miracles unfold.

In this world, we often place a great deal of importance on titles, ranks, and positions. We may think that these things define us and give us value, but in reality, they are temporary and fleeting. What truly matters is the way we treat people. How we treat others, whether they are above or below us, will be remembered long after our positions and titles are gone. The way we show kindness, compassion, and respect to others is what truly defines our character and leaves a lasting impact on those around us. When we prioritize our relationships with others over our own status, we will find that we are able to make a difference that truly matters. 👌🏾🌸👌🏾

Being important might bring recognition and influence, but being nice creates genuine connections and leaves a positive impact that outlasts titles or achievements. Kindness shows strength, empathy, and character—traits that earn trust and admiration in ways that power or status never could. When you prioritize being nice, you inspire others, foster collaboration, and create an environment where people feel valued and respected. Ultimately, it’s not what you’ve accomplished that people will remember, but how you made them feel. Strive to be someone whose importance is rooted in kindness and the positive difference you make in others’ lives. 🌟

🌟 "Things won are done; joy's soul lies in the doing." – Troilus, "Troilus and Cressida" by William Shakespeare In these hyper-speed, omni-crisis times, it's all too easy to become fixated on the finish line – the wins, the achievements, the final outcomes. But there's profound wisdom in Shakespeare's reminder from "Troilus and Cressida" that the essence of fulfillment often lies not in the accolades or endpoints but in the process itself. Isn’t it true that it’s the journey—the challenges we overcome, the innovations we pioneer, and the collaborations we foster—that truly enriches us. Every day offers a new stage to learn, to grow, and to contribute meaningfully to our projects and teams. While we are all surely setting our sights on our next “finish line” like FYE 24, let’s try to enjoy process with as much enthusiasm as we do the final achievements. Let's find joy in the doing, the creating, the problem-solving—because the things we spend our time doing are, in fact, our life. I encourage my network to reflect today—What recent project or task have you found joy in? How has the process contributed to your professional development or mindset? Let's celebrate not just our victories, but the journeys that lead us there. #ShakespeareInspires #ProfessionalGrowth #EnjoyTheJourney #Leadership #Innovation #FindYourJoy #PLDEverywhere

Wanna learn a new word!......? I grew up in New Orleans and Louisiana was owned by the Spanish, then the French before the US purchased it, but there's a Spanish word that's remained in the culture of my city to this day. The word is Lagniappe. Literally translated it's a "little gift" but it's become synonymous with a "bakers dozen" or a little bit extra that was unexpected. 🎉 "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." – Mahatma Gandhi Celebrating wins—big or small—isn’t just about recognition; it’s about creating moments that matter. When we add a touch of imagination or an unexpected surprise, we turn those celebrations into lasting memories. It’s not just acknowledgment; it’s appreciation, elevated. Here’s how to create unforgettable moments: 1️⃣ Personalize It: Tailor the celebration to the person or team—it shows you care and truly see them. 2️⃣ Make It Unexpected: A surprise, no matter how small, adds an element of joy and wonder. 3️⃣ Celebrate the Journey: Don’t just focus on the outcome. Highlight the effort, growth, and milestones along the way. Imaginative celebrations aren’t just fun—they strengthen relationships and motivate others to strive for even greater accomplishments. Who’s someone or something you can celebrate unexpectedly this week? #CelebrateWins #Imagination #Leadership #Gratitude

In a world that constantly tries to mold us into something we're not, Oscar Wilde's timeless quote serves as a powerful reminder to embrace our unique selves. It's a call to break free from the chains of conformity and celebrate our individuality. We live in a society that often pressures us to fit into predefined roles and expectations. We may find ourselves comparing our lives, achievements, and even appearances to those around us. But Wilde's words encourage us to reject this notion and instead embrace our authentic selves. Being true to who we are is a liberating experience. It allows us to express our thoughts, ideas, and passions without fear of judgment or rejection. When we let go of the need to conform, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities and opportunities. Remember, no one else can be you. Your unique combination of talents, experiences, and perspectives is what sets you apart. Embrace your quirks, embrace your flaws, and embrace your strengths. They are what make you special. By being true to ourselves, we inspire others to do the same. Our authenticity becomes a beacon of light, encouraging those around us to embrace their own individuality. We create a ripple effect of self-acceptance and empowerment. So, the next time you find yourself tempted to conform or compare, remember Oscar Wilde's wise words. Be yourself, unapologetically and wholeheartedly. Embrace your true essence and let it shine brightly. Because in a world full of copies, being an original is the greatest gift you can give yourself and the world. #BeYourself #EmbraceYourUniqueness #AuthenticityMatters #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #organizationaldevelopment #neuroleadership #coaching #mindfulness #inspiration #motivation #success

Happy Sunday, everyone! As we relax and recharge for the week ahead, let’s take a moment to reflect on the connections that shape our journeys. Think about it: every achievement we celebrate often starts with someone who believed in us. It could be a mentor who took the time to guide us, a colleague who pushed us to think outside the box, or even a friend who reminded us to keep going when things got tough. Here’s a little Sunday challenge: Tag someone who has made a difference in your professional life and share a brief story about how they impacted you. It could be a lesson learned, a funny moment, or just a heartfelt thank you. Let’s celebrate these connections and fill this space with gratitude and inspiration. Who’s that person for you?
