Everything You Need to Know About CUET! Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Ministry of Education, CUET simplifies university admissions. 345+ Universities Accept CUET Scores. From Delhi University and BHU to Jamia Millia Islamia, CUET is your golden ticket. There are approximately 47 central, 57 state, 37 deemed, 196 private, and 8 other universities that accept CUET exam scores. Do 12th Marks Matter? Yes, they do. For conceptual clarity you need to study for boards. In case of a tie in CUET marks, seats will be allotted based on 12th-class marks. Without normalization, your board exam marks will play a crucial role in determining your rank. Marks Distribution +5 for every correct answer -1 for every wrong answer After the Examination Result Declaration: Results are declared one month after the examination, after which the counseling process begins. Candidates must register on the individual university portals they prefer to start the counseling process. Counseling Process (3 Rounds) 1.Registration: Register in your preferred universities to link your CUET score. 2.Preference Sheet Filing: Provide and rank your course and college preferences. 3.Seat Allocation: Seats are allocated based on your preferences and the cutoff score. You can either freeze the allocated college and course or opt to upgrade and wait for the second round of seat allocation if the cutoff score decreases. Revamped CUET-UG 2025: Key Changes Announced by UGC The University Grants Commission (UGC) has unveiled important updates for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2025. Key changes include: - All questions are now compulsory, eliminating optional questions to standardize difficulty. - Exam duration is set at 60 minutes for all papers to streamline the process. - Candidates can select a maximum of five subjects, reduced from six. - The exam will be conducted entirely in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for improved reliability. - The number of available subjects has been reduced from 63 to 37, focusing on core areas. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗥𝗖𝗖 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗗𝗟𝗜 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿/𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 IRCC has introduced a temporary policy for students transferring to a new Designated Learning Institution (DLI) for the 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. Students who meet the following conditions can begin their studies at a new DLI while their study permit extension is being processed: 1️⃣ The student has been accepted into a DLI for the Winter or Spring 2025 semester. 2️⃣ The student has applied for a study permit extension. 3️⃣ The current study permit is still valid and does not include the DLI name printed on it. 4️⃣ The student continues to meet all conditions of their existing study permit. This change allows students to transfer institutions and begin their programs without delays, ensuring continuity in their education while their application for a permit extension is under review.

Important Update for International Students: If you have been accepted to a new Designated Learning Institution (DLI) for the Winter or Spring 2025 semester, you may be eligible to start your studies while waiting for your study permit extension! Here’s what you need to do: 1. Be accepted to a DLI for the Winter/Spring 2025 semester. 2. Apply for a study permit extension. 3. Have a valid study permit that doesn’t have the DLI name printed on it. 4. Meet all existing study permit conditions. If you meet these criteria, you can start attending your new DLI while your study permit extension is being processed!
