Food is an essential part of our lives, deeply woven into the fabric of our daily existence. It sustains us physically, providing the nutrients and energy we need to survive, grow, and thrive. Beyond its nutritional value, food is also a source of comfort, celebration, and cultural identity. It marks significant moments, whether it's a family meal, a holiday feast, or a simple gathering with friends. The act of eating often brings people together, creating bonds and traditions that span generations. Meals are shared in homes, restaurants, and communities, where food becomes a language of connection, hospitality, and love. In many cultures, food is also a way of preserving history, passing down recipes and techniques that tell stories of ancestry, migration, and heritage. Food plays a role in shaping our emotional and mental well-being as well. The familiar taste of a favorite dish can evoke feelings of nostalgia, warmth, and security. It can bring comfort during times of stress, serve as a reward, or provide an outlet for creativity and self-expression. On a broader scale, food also reflects the values of society, such as sustainability, health, and ethics, and can spark important conversations about what we eat and how we produce it. In essence, food is much more than just a necessity—it's a vital part of the human experience, influencing who we are, how we connect, and how we navigate the world. #hospitality #foodforlife

Gratitude in the Food Industry: Celebrating People, Food, and the Future As we gather around tables this season to share meals and moments, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey of working in the food industry—a space that is so much more than just business. It’s a celebration of people, a love for food, and the privilege of shaping what’s next. First, it’s about the people. From farmers and manufacturers to the frontline retail teams and everyone in between, the food industry is powered by individuals whose passion and dedication ensure that shelves are stocked, meals are shared, and communities are nourished. To all those I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside, I’m thankful for your hard work and commitment. You make this industry what it is. Second, it’s about the food. Food is universal. It’s how we connect, celebrate, and care for one another. Whether it’s developing products that bring comfort or curating experiences that inspire, working in this industry has shown me the profound role food plays in our lives—and I’m grateful to contribute to that. Finally, it’s about the future. One of the most exciting parts of this industry is looking ahead—understanding how consumers evolve, embracing innovations, and playing a role in shaping what’s next for food. From sustainability to technology, the opportunities to meet the needs of tomorrow are endless and inspiring. As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to thank all those who work to make the food industry dynamic, resilient, and full of heart. Together, we’re not just feeding people; we’re fostering connections, celebrating cultures, and creating memories. Here’s to celebrating the people, the food, and the ever-evolving future of an industry I’m so proud to be part of. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃✨ #FoodIndustry #Gratitude #Innovation #Thanksgiving

Food has been a driving force behind human civilization for millions of years. It is that one basic necessity that has compelled humans, since times immemorial to work and adapt! As we evolved, so did our food—from raw to refined and it is continuing to shape our progress and culture even today. It has contributed immensely to our lives in countless ways. At its core, food is the reason we all work. After all, at the end of a hard day's work, there’s nothing more satisfying than a wholesome, nourishing meal. It fuels us, gives us strength, and helps us thrive. Beyond physical nourishment, food offers comfort and joy, a sense of fulfilment that’s essential for both body and soul. Food also builds bonds of friendship and togetherness. Some of our most cherished memories come from sharing a meal and engaging in meaningful conversations around the table. These moments remind us of the deeper connections food helps foster, turning ordinary gatherings into something extraordinary. A surplus of food is not just a blessing—it’s a symbol of prosperity. Simple, everyday staples that we often take for granted like milk, continue to nourish people across the world, quietly sustaining life and growth. On this World Food Day, let’s take a moment to be grateful for the plate in front of us—for the nourishment it brings, the connections it strengthens, and the prosperity it represents. Here’s to food, the foundation of life, and to the timeless simplicity of nature’s offerings that keep us moving forward every day. #WorldFoodDay #Nourishment #FoodForThought #Sustainability

There are three undisputed facts. 1. The nations that have been using only monounsaturated oils along the Mediterranean have for 3700 years, had the lowest incidence of cardiovascular vascular diseases. 2. The kitchens of Asia are earning less and less each year using non-monounsaturated (non-MUFA) oils such as palm olein, coconut, soybean, sunflower, peanut, corn, mixtures of these oils and blends of two, partially hydrogenated oils (PHO) such as rapeseed and all oils genetically modified (GM) of containing additives like an antifoam or an antioxidant. In fact the kitchens of Asia are trying harder each year to prove they have improved the sustainability records, they have improved the environment, reduced carbon emissions, made sustainable impacts in innovation and quadrupled their acts of responsibility & management - when in fact they simply have failed. As 32M people died worldwide last year from their poor diets and over 32M began to suffer a NCD. Despite the pleadings of the World Health Organisation and the warnings from 144+ government health and safety departments. 3. Meanwhile, the hospitals of Asia are overflowing with patients suffering from diabetes, cardiovascular, cancer and chronic respiratory diseases (NCDs). The governments are having to spend more tax payers money to patch the huge costs of health, food safety and loss of productivity because the diets provided by the big kitchens are increasingly the numbers suffering from NCDs. You can make a massive contribution to the nation as zero expense by SWITCHING your orders to 82% Omega-9 Monounsaturated (MUFA) oils.
