It’s not enough to have great leadership, it's the support system around them—whether in operations, finance, or technical roles—to complement. The future of business growth lies in the ability to build high-performing teams from the ground up, creating a structure where leaders and their teams are aligned and empowered to succeed. Lital Marom says it well: "Leadership is not just about managing resources or making decisions. It’s about inspiring change, driving innovation and unlocking the potential within each team member." Transformational leadership plays a pivotal role in fueling innovation within the finance industry. Leaders who adopt a transformational approach inspire and motivate their teams to think creatively, challenge the status quo, and pursue new ideas and opportunities. By fostering a culture of innovation, these leaders encourage employees to embrace change, experiment with novel solutions, and push the boundaries of what's possible in finance. #Leadership #Transformation #Resources #Change #Innovation #Finance

Is your fixation on industry experience holding you back? With over 850 leaders on our roster, we've seen both sides of this coin. Here's what we've learned: 1. Sometimes, industry experience is crucial. When it is, we find the right fit. 2. Other times, leaders think they need it... but they don't. Why? They might say: "We need those industry connections!" But their real challenge? Execution. Process. Follow-through. In these cases, we challenge their thinking. The truth is, skills are often more transferable than you'd think. A leader with a track record of: • Leveling up processes • Creating scalable playbooks • Driving results in various industries ...might be exactly what you need. The key? Focus on the specific challenge you're facing. Is it really about industry know-how? Or is it about leadership and execution? What's your take? How important is industry experience when bringing in a new leader? Share your thoughts below! #leadership #hiring #businessstrategy #salesleadershipcapital Vendux LLC Henning Schwinum Andrew M. Leaders are generally too busy with strategy and growth they don’t focus on who they are hiring and how to lead them. An interesting video from Joshua del Rio, highlights the importance of understanding the costs of your workforce, as people are the key to scaling & growth. #leadership #management #hiring #recruiting

Leadership Lessons from The Outsiders The Outsiders is one of my favorite books because it offers incredible insights into leadership. It highlights how some of the most successful and unconventional CEOs focused on what truly mattered—capital allocation. Instead of getting bogged down in the daily grind or constantly managing investors, they made strategic, long-term decisions about where to invest their company’s cash and resources. What really stood out to me was how these leaders trusted their teams to handle the day-to-day operations while they focused on the bigger picture. They weren’t micromanagers; they empowered their teams and guided the company’s direction with a light touch. For leaders and managers: It’s a reminder that you don’t need to do everything yourself. Trust your team and focus on strategy, while keeping an eye on KPIs. For individual contributors: Understand how your work fits into the bigger picture. When you take ownership and align your efforts with the broader goals, that’s where you can make a real impact. The Outsiders is full of lessons on how trusting your people, staying focused on long-term strategy, and making smart resource decisions can drive success. I highly recommend reading it. #Leadership #Strategy #Empowerment #TheOutsiders #Teamwork #BusinessGrowth

On average, CEOs spend only 3% of their time with customers. Although most companies claim to be customer-centric, the extent to which the leadership team interacts with customers shows that this is not always the case. To build successful companies, business leaders must get out and actively listen to their customers. See 4 examples of great initiatives to bridge the gap between executive teams and customers. 🌟 (Links to full stories in the comments)

Here’s a really boring piece of leadership advice. Keep saying the same thing. Over + over again. Doesn’t sound exciting but it’s required. As leaders, we’re usually executing things. Strategy. Vision. Asks. Your team needs to hear it. A lot. And even more. So you need to say it. Over + over again. The leaders that really drive things. Are the leaders that stay on things. And keep talking about it. Making it nearly impossible to miss. It becomes engrained into the cultural fabric. If you’re missing this. You’re missing a huge opportunity. Doesn’t mean BE boring. You can leverage communicate to spice it up. Just stay on the message. To ensure your team stays on it. If you’ve worked with me… What’s something you remember me… Saying over + over + over again? #leadership #communication #culture #strategy

A study by Bain of 1,250 companies found that those with highly effective top teams outperform their competition in revenue growth, profitability, and total shareholder return. Interestingly, the study found that it's not the individual leader's ability to lead others or cultivate highly talented individuals with deep expertise and all the right experiences that make the biggest difference. What matters most is a top team's ability to act as a collective. So, if you want your business to succeed, focus on building a strong leadership team that can work together effectively. It could be the key to taking your business to the next level. #leadershipteams #businesssuccess #collectiveaction
