Evaluation of Intergenerational programs in #agedcare. How do we know they are creating positive impact? I was recently asked how we know that what we do is not just fun but has a meaningful impact on our residents, the young participants and the wider community. I could talk about the consultation, planning, check-ins and evaluations we do and provide some interesting data but really, I think this feedback from a resident that came through last night sums it up! (Excuse the ** which I have added for privacy reasons). How privileged we are to be able to impact someone's life in such a special way, and know that our programs are having a ripple effect. ‘Currently, use of digital technology is mimicking silos in the system, and people are frustrated at having to piece their care together.
