ITMA Asia + CITME SG 2025: 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 There are signs of a high level of participation from Germany. As of today (Friday 3 p.m. CET), more than 60 German companies have submitted their application for admission here. A total of more than 32 companies will participate in the German pavilion (the two sector groups #spinning and #finishing). Currently, there are 14 companies in the spinning and 18 in finishing sector group stand. From our talks with our partners CEMATEX and ITMA Services, as well as with the companies (VDMA Textile Machinery is responsible for registrations from Germany), we know of numerous other registrations from Germany and other European countries that are in the pipeline. With 67,420 trade visitors, a new visitor record was set on the LogiMAT 2024, which was also noticeable at the beck stand with a large number of visitors. The trade visitors from the "Logistics & E-Commerce" sector welcomed our open stand concept - in keeping with our open, clear machine design. 🚀 Everyone could see and feel the good atmosphere and hospitality at the beck stand. Special praise therefore goes to the entire beck trade fair team. Our trade fair visitors received competent and motivated advice on their packaging and logistics questions on all days of the fair. Because investments in smart packaging and optimized packaging processes pave the way for the future. ✅ Our new paper machines were met with great interest. The new compact and user-friendly design benefits both people and the environment. The innovation of automatically re-sized paper bags to products opens up completely new possibilities. Sustainable film packaging with PCR film also remains an important topic. Information was also provided on the Wildplastic film concept. Before the crowds arrive at the first day of glasstec – International Trade Fair … Checking out the interesting things in Hall 13 😀 Here is the largest centre distance ISX machine available in the world, I believe. (Tell me if I’m wrong.) Here it is configured in TG for 6 1/4” production meaning wine and spirits production up to around 1.5 L in size is possible! That’s a 50% increase in productivity for such production. Also it can run DG up to 80mm diameter ware meaning what is normally made on SG can be made DG giving a 100% increase in productivity over a “standard” type IS machine capability. This T&T “ISX Machine” will be delivered to Glass Futures after the show ready for when they have glass to run down their glass container line. Glass Futures are open to making any production size which is fine for this machine as it can be configured for any size of glass container normally produced on any IS Machine, from smallest to largest. Smaller ware up to normal quad production gob size (95mm centres) can be run in penta gob (5 gobs) giving 25% increase in productivity (Rejectors for 5 gobs configured as standard on the machine ready to go!) Leaving this stand of T&T now to see other interesting developments. KONATIC are the next on my list to visit before the crowds arrive 😉😀.

𝐈𝐓𝐌𝐀 𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐀 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 In economically difficult times, ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024 in Shanghai was better than expected. Gunnar Meyer, Managing Director, Monforts said: “We were very satisfied with this year’s ITMA ASIA + CITME and there were more visitors than at year’s last show in Shanghai – and certainly more than we expected, given a challenging business environment. There is no escaping the fact that China remains the Number One textile manufacturing centre worldwide and we are now very optimistic about an appetite for new investment which was suddenly noticeable at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024. China has a number of advantages, including a massive domestic market and a highly developed infrastructure and supply chain network. There is a wealth of domestic producers and we now see big potential for further growth. In addition to companies from China, we also had very good discussions with companies from Egypt, India, Pakistan and Vietnam, some of whom we already knew, but many who were new to us, as these markets continue to grow. Alongside enquiries about our own well-established technologies, visitors showed a lot of interest in our recently-announced collaboration with Archroma and Baldwin Technology on solutions which are charting the course for the future of sustainable textile finishing.” Georg Stausberg, CEO, Oerlikon Polymer Processing Solutions summarized the trade fair as follows: “It is becoming increasingly more challenging for participating companies to present groundbreaking innovations at the ITMA trade fair, as it is now held annually. Nevertheless, ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024 was once again a convincing international communication platform, especially in one of the most important markets for us in the manmade fiber industry. In addition to all our Chinese customers, we were able to provide detailed information on our new products and services to many international visitors, particularly from Pakistan, Egypt and Southeast Asia.
