What happens when the community and government join forces to develop innovative tech solutions for pressing social issues such as eldercare, healthcare, online safety and sustainability? ✨ A host of promising devices, apps and chatbots, many AI-powered, that are validated and user-tested in just a month, with huge potential for impact. For the third and largest run of the Build for Good hackathon, Open Government Products collaborated with the Singapore Government Partnerships Office to foster co-creation between government agencies and citizens for a better Singapore. It brought together a diverse group of 100 passionate participants – including tech professionals and public officers, 10+ ministry families and 50+ user testers, to build and refine these impactful tech solutions together. With SGPO’s support, builders had the opportunity to consult a wider group of subject matter experts across government to refine their problem statements and solutions for public good.
