Is this news? Genuine question. In an age where the biggest mobile brands are actively promoting things like ‘magic eraser’, with the ability to change entire facial reactions and remove full objects from photos, AND people use various social media filters millions of times a day…? And don't get me started on AI-generated images! Or is the question more around transparency and authenticity when issued to media by the Royals. Don’t edit it, or do - and declare it.

Agree. How is this news? We are surrounded by fake news and imagery every single day - content that is at best totally inauthentic, at worst actually dangerous and deliberately misinforming. But yes, let's go big on Kate putting a filter on a family photo.....
