🏚️ Mistakes we make when working from home: ⛔ Not setting up a designated #workspace: Our work environment plays a major role in how productive, healthy and successful we are. ⛔ Not establishing a proper #routine: set specific times for everything — whether it’s exercising before your day starts, scheduling your meetings, or allocating coffee breaks. ⛔ Eating food at your desk: Eating at your desk can be a distraction and make you less productive and focused. ⛔ Not taking breaks outside of the house: Since you’re not commuting as much and sitting down for eight hours, it’s not uncommon to feel sluggish and more tired due to being inactive. ⛔ Messy workspace: It’s very easy to allow your desk or workspace to become cluttered with piles of stuff. Ensure that you have a clear and clean workspace. ⛔ Isolating yourself from colleagues: Just because you work remotely, doesn’t mean you should isolate yourself or not socialize with colleagues. https://buff.ly/462JC8G

𝑳𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒙𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈: When I first started working at Busy Bee Recruitment Ltd flexible/hybrid working was completely alien to me. I'd always worked in customer facing roles with set start & finish times, & I had one fixed place of work. So when I started at Busy Bee and was told I could pick my start/finish times & work from wherever suited me best, I was shocked in honesty! Now to be honest... it's not something I take massive benefit of, I like being in the office because I like the social aspect, I also like routine (I've set my own core hours), and I like working from two screens. But to have the option is invaluable. I got a text message yesterday from a delivery company to let me know they were delivering some furniture to the house between 7am & 4pm, and if I wasn't there to take the delivery, they were going to charge me £30. In the past, I'd of panicked booked a days annual leave to be there (and how infuriating to use a days annual leave for a delivery), but instead, I've set up my laptop from my house, started at 7am to cater for the delivery and will finish earlier, because today that's what suits me. And instead of loosing a day out of the office, I'll have a productive day in the quiet getting all the bits done I might have missed otherwise! What are your thoughts on Flexible/Hybrid working and is it a benefit your company offers? #hybridworking #flexibleworking #recruitment #businesssupport #workingfromhome
