We’re very excited to be working with the Ronald Lauder Impact Initiative, tasked with making Jewish day schools more enticing to those who might choose a traditional private school instead of a Jewish education. After many years of success in Europe, their leadership from Europe moved to the US to kick off the program here with 5 pilot cities/schools. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dzS6ibfJ

We argue so much about our past that we fail to unite for a resolution. Focusing on our differences leaves little room to discuss our shared achievements. We debate endlessly about which race does things better, yet we never discuss our collective accomplishments. We spend so much time arguing about things we cannot change in our past that history remains stagnant. If we could change what we focus on, we could make history by creating a better future.

"And So Must We": Feminist Climate Justice and Collective Vision Watching the video essay "And So Must We" felt like a meditation on the urgent need for feminist #ClimateJustice. Directed and produced by Lydia Ayame H. (Union of Justice Fellow), and featuring the powerful voices of Marion Atieno Osieyo (host of the Black Earth Podcast) and Tori Tsui (author of it's not just you). this experimental film goes beyond facts and figures, offering space for reflection, connection, and imagination. The essay explores the intersections of race, gender, and class, and the role of Black feminism in driving the collective vision for climate justice. 🌍 Climate Justice as Feminist Justice: Marion and Tori emphasize that the climate crisis is a product of patriarchal values of hierarchy and extraction. Feminist solutions, rooted in caretaking, reciprocity, and community, are essential to address these challenges. 👩🌾 Global Impact on Marginalized Communities: The voices in this video remind us that women and girls in the Global South, particularly those tied to the land, hold key solutions to the climate crisis. Their lived experiences and knowledge hold vital solutions for our collective future. 🌱 Radical Roots of Climate Action: As Tori notes, the word "radical" often sparks fear while it simply means getting to the root. The essay challenges us to imagine alternative futures and embrace a deeper connection to the Earth and one another. This reflective and visually compelling work calls for us to move beyond intellectual debates and toward vision, imagination, and collective action. It's a beautiful reminder that climate justice is not just a struggle—it's also a call to imagine and create something better. 🔗 Watch the full video here: https://lnkd.in/eFE5s3Pv #ClimateJustice #FeministClimateAction #BlackFeminism #EnvironmentalRacism #BlackVoicesinClimate #GlobalSouth #WomeninClimate

Improving public safety, economic development, and the education system has always been a core goal of mine. As I reflect on my childhood vision of what our urban communities could be, I’m reminded of the power of collective action. After watching an inspiring TED Talk by Andre Spicer, I’m more motivated than ever to rebuild what it means to be a community leader. It’s not just about individual titles or influence; I t’s about coming together to share love, honor growth, and create sustainable change that benefits everyone. The future of our communities lies in collaboration, compassion, and a shared vision of progress. Let’s continue to invest in the betterment of our neighborhoods, champion new ideas, and support one another in creating the change we want to see. Together, we can redefine what community leadership truly means. #CommunityLeadership #UrbanDevelopment #PublicSafety #EconomicGrowth #EducationMatters #CollectiveImpact #Leadership #Inspiration #BetterTogether #FutureOfCommunities https://lnkd.in/gp5gBB57
