Who should I talk to at Caltrans regarding making compact parking spaces illegal in California? Keep in mind, there is no grandfathering here. Even if the parking lot has one compact space, the whole parking lot would need to be redesigned, reconstructed, and restriped. Speaking of parking, who should I talk to at Caltrans regarding a law saying all parking structure must be smart parking structures with the number of available spaces by floor promently displayed at the parking garage entrance, and red and green lights directing clientele to available parking. Use New York, New York parking garage in Las Vegas as a model. Do not use San Francisco Airport as a model because the system shows green lights when spaces are actually occupied. www.dot.ca.gov.

Absolutely right. A major reason for the 1920’s peak is the second National Infrastructure Bank which took the initiative to make PA the center of manufacturing.
